Yeah you live and you learn. So far I haven’t regretted anything yet. The only thing I debated forever was building the stock axles or jumping to Dana 60’s. Seeing how I don’t want to go past 37’s, I figured building the stock axles were fine. Maybe I’ll regret this later.
I’m sure you should be able to recoup a little bit on your axles.
I think building your D44's will be fine for 37's, but certainly do not take my amateur's word for it. I am admittedly new to all this and learning as I go. The consensus from what I've read and from speaking with folks during my build is that 37's are good to go with trusses on the axles/gussets on the C-knuckles then upgraded ball joints as well. From there you have to consider shafts, etc but that's a whole different rabbit hole itself.

Yeah I have the RCV shafts, Dynatrac ball joints, and the Reid Racing steel steering knuckles. I’m pretty sure I’m going to be good.

Yes, I will be selling the front & back Dana 44's with trusses already welded on, 5.38 G2 gears, Powerstop big brake kit and HD ball joints paired with 40" Yokohama's on 20x12 wheels.
They probably won't last long, once they're available.

It looks like you are still running a stock tierod but maybe I am mistaken of what I’m looking at, and it could be just the picture angle but it looks like it could be slightly bent. Do you plan to upgrade to a beefier tierod?
Yes, upgrading the whole front. Here is a picture of the current

I sure hope not. Some lucky person is going to get a nice setup. I am just disappointed in myself for having to spend the time and money I did building this and wish I had been educated enough to go straight to the 60's. Expensive education but certainly learned.

It's true what they say.....EVERYTHING is bigger in TEXAS. Nice build. I wanna see it in ACTION.
LOL ! I have been stuck building this thing and want to see it in action myself ! Soon, very soon. Probably about 2 weeks and I plan to start hitting up a few Texas trails for some badges.

I started with a Sport, and am very happy with where mine is at right now. (Daily driver, lack of funds, and PA laws prevent me from doing anything like what you've done, which looks friggin awesome, btw). I will probably not go much farther than I am right now, with the exception of a few little improvements (onboard air, Armolite floor, Led headlights, etc). Been toying around with idea of adding a Rubicon front axle for the locker, but for right now, I'm impressed with what the MaxTow's rear LSD can do.

Well hey I'll be here to watch if them axles will break,I'm confident with the rubi d44's handling 40s when trussed but 43's will probably break offroad especially with them being so aggressive

Those improvements are perfect. I want to do onboard air as well but my problem is where to put it. I use the bed for hauling kiddo stuff with me and dont want to lose that space and I fully intend to use my rig for trails, rocks, etc so I do not want it hanging down under either. Once my current set up is done in a week or two, my next project is lights and air.

I have met a few guys with the Max Tow and they all love it with no regrets about not going Rubi.

Sir, you must've read up to where I wrote about the trussing, but, if you keep going, I have ordered D60's, etc.. Trussed 44's are not enough for my build.

I won't put anything in the bed because I use my JT for hauling stuff (like what's in it right now, lol). And underneath (or in the engine bay) won't work because of the salt and brine they use on the roads up here. I've been devising a plan to install a compressor and small tank behind or under the backseat, and an inverter under the passenger front seat.

Nice build! The D60's will be great with 43's.
Just looking through your pics, I noticed the drag link and track-bar are not quite parallel. Do you have any bump steer? It could contribute to the death wobble perhaps. I went through it on my other Jeep due to the steering setup I was running, but eventually changed things and fixed it. Hopefully it is gone with the 60's.

Yes, have bumpsteer. I do appreciate the input. I'm sure it is at least contributing to the wobble. I am currently just sucking it up and not driving the truck until I have the 60's and everything else put on.
