Max Tow package comes with the wider Dana 44s AND body color fender flares. I do like the look of the body color flares, but how durable are they? I know they'll end up rubbing rocks/trees on trails with the Gladiator's longer wheel base.

Based off the US pricing it should only be about 2-3k over a similarly equipped JLU. I called FCA Canada today and they knew nothing. Hoping the Canadian dealerships will have information soon. The only way I see this hitting 70k CDN is if you order every single option. And even still I don’t see that happening.

If this is the cost for the US,, I m act very disappointed to find out what a fully loaded Glad Rubi would cost here in Canada, I here and trying to figure out,, esp cost after taxes and what not is over 70g, Canadian. I was really hoping that this would be a highly valued vehicle,, with a decent cost,, however for what your getting comp to other full-size vehicles,, I m not sure if this 70g+ is act worth it,, that's a great and very cool downpaymnt on a home,, Esp in the economy of today where, many people are loosing their homes and jobs on a daily basis,,, I may go a different direction due too, this reason, cause if I cant have what I want in a jeep,, fully loaded Gald Rubi, in Gater Green Manual, I m not willing to settle for a lower version,, I d rather spend the money else where, Esp with the deprecation of vehicles,, I m defin going to see about discounts and what-nots in the future before purchasing now,, Not Fair with all the hype and secrecy,, I can now see why they did this,, Wowow,, Not impressed with the comp, I guess we all see and find out. Have a great day everyone.

Mine came to $58,730.

I didn’t want all the features it forced upon me, but I had to select some to get the things I wanted.
I.e.- have to led to get front camera

Loaded rubicon was just over $62,500. That's loaded full size truck price, ouch!!

Within 4k of a loaded king ranch f150. And with rebates on f150 almost exact same price. I know two different vehicles, but expected a bigger gap between a gladiator and a full sized truck.

Disappointed, honestly as it may deter me from going this direction.
Been saying this all along, they have it priced same as a full size truck. Only true Jeep nuts who want the off road capability and removeable top and doors will buy, no question. Which I think has been their strategy all along too. One problem is the full size trucks come standard with many items you need to add as options on the JT bumping up the price along the way.

If you do a manual transmission you need to add convenience package and cold weather group to get the 7 inch screen in the sport s?!?!? F u Jeep. That adds 1400 dollars. I still think this whole price thing is horrible. Worse than I expected after some simple options and destination.

It's that way on the JL, too. For way less than a grand you can get an aftermarket unit smacked in there that retains all the factory connectivity. Big display, Apple CarPlay/AndroidAuto, none of the bundled horse sh-fertilizer.

The brake controller looks to be a redarc controller- costa less than $200.
What is this mystical step that people talk about? It has a step bumper already.

I have heard things like that, but sounds like a lot of work and it would be nice to have from factory. Did you personally do that?

The only aftermarket unit that gets it done right is from Alpine, but that doesn't appear to have hit production yet. However you can buy the 7" uConnect unit. The only thing that won't work are the touch screens AC controls. There is a thread on JLWranglerForums.com covering this. Several people have upgraded from the 5" to the 7" and from the 7" to the 8". I don't remember the exact price of the 7" uConnect, but I believe it was $700 or less. It is a fully plug and play option too.

I think this is an error for "manual trans". I only state that because in the cold weather package it indicates "Remote-Start System" is N/A with manual transmission. When I build it with Automatic and select the 7 inch screen, it only adds the convenience package.
