Interesting. Grand Junction has been totally unresponsive to my requests on the last 2 Jeeps, including this one. I was also in there several months ago and asked a salesman to contact me when Gladiators were available. He did not. And when I visited them again a few weeks ago, another of their sales guys acted like he would be doing me a favor if he sold me a vehicle. Flower originally told me that "we are an invoice dealer" and that they would be able to offer a great deal, especially since a friend and I were each ordering nearly identical Rubicons. But when ordering actually opened, the sales guy at Flower said they had contacted numerous other dealers in Colorado and Arizona and all were sticking to MSRP or above. So it's apparently a conspiracy. The dealer in Silverthorne offered a fairly attractive price, but the dealer in Cortez came in under invoice with dealer fees significantly lower than Silverthorne. We ordered the 2 Gladiators from New Country in Cortez.

Silverthorne replied to me this morning at $500 over invoice, expected to go under invoice on the next round (Round 3 he said). I still love that all these dealers think they have a monopoly and are doing me a favor ... take a little bit of profit and quit trying to make a couple grand off me by checking some boxes on your order form. I need to check my latest numbers, but Spencer in iowa was about $1200 lower than the lowest in Colorado.

It seems crazy that no dealers in CO are willing to work with buyers. I quit playing their game and just put my order in with Spencer last Friday. I am originally from Iowa so ill make a trip out of it. He has been awesome to work with so far.

I had Morehart Murphy (Durango) $400 under FFP pricing, Faricy (Co Springs) at FFP, Fort Collins Jeep at FFP plus fees. Grand Junction sent me a build with only MSRP column, and Flower Motor (Montrose) was MSRP. Sort of disappointed, cause Flower Motor and Grand Junction have been most responsive. Still leaning towards a family roadtrip from Iowa or Idaho ... Spencer (Iowa) got me a great price and Kent (ID) got my initial info late Friday night, so waiting to hear back on price. Discovered not all of my options are available so debating how long I hold off on purchasing.

As a reminder what is FFP in terms of % off invoice?

Taxes depend on the state where you are titling the vehicle. Anyone can do the math on it. Look up your state's vehicle sales tax.

Not sure...was simply tweeking the order I have with my dealer. Not able to play with the configurator myself. Also, I’m just texting back and forth, so hard to ask too many questions

New Country in Cortez has been great to work with. Their initial quote was acceptable to me given what I had been quoted by several other dealers. No BS. A few minutes on the phone and my order was placed. And the drive over there goes through some really beautiful country.
