My 2020 had the transmission replaced at 47K miles. Luckily I had a great dealership. They got the transmission pretty quick and gave me a loner Cherokee during the install. It's not even the dealership I bought the jeep from.

Shifts better but still seems a little odd. Sometimes it's long to shift and it has a whine I don't recall in the original.
Gotcha. Yeah, once something like this happens, especially at a relatively low amount of miles, it can make you question the quality of the product. Even after it’s “fixed”.

trail turn assist and winch mode have to be my two favorite features. Plus locker on in 2HI
Also, having the lights flash after turning off the panic alarm and brake hold.

Interesting read though. I haven't seen many auto trans issues with these.
Ever since this has happened, I’m learning more and more folks have the same issue. Could be because I’m looking for some answers so I’m paying more attention to the subject. lol

Same symptoms Transmission finally fucked off while I was out running errands and had to get towed to dealership. Transmission, transmission cooler and lines replaced. 52K miles.

I’m having trust issues.

Good luck! ?

Damn! That sucks!!! Yeah, hard to put faith into a product when a major part of the drivetrain is crapping out at an early age. Lol

Shit. Yeah, I figure mine needs to be replaced too. A LOT of JT and JL owners are going through this.
There a definitely a few people on here its happen too, but i dont think its super common. Search for loose stearing and see how much people post when something is a common issue.
