I like that the floors are (appear to be?) coated in an applied rubber instead of carpet. Hopefully Jeep is taking notes.
But to those mentioning a truck version, just don’t see it happening. The Bronco is built on a modified Ranger frame, and they would have no reason to cannibalize Ranger sales. MAYBE the Ranger take some cues from the Bronco in time, but a Bronco truck just doesn’t make sense.
Doubt it. The Honda Element did that and Jeep still didn't up their materials. But, it does seem like the carpet is easy to take off. I just for the life of me can't see why they hide all but 2 drain plugs under carpet or the underseat storage.
I removed my carpet and am still confused as to why Jeep does this. It seems like Ford has been listening to the jeep owners. Also WTF on the carpet that should be easy to remove to dry. Nope underseat storage needs to be fully removed, including the bolt box. Once I got the carpet out I was shocked by the number of drain plugs under there doing nobody any good because of how burried they are.
Also another thing, they actually figured out how to not mount the mirrors on the doors, such a simple item that causes jeep owners so much pain and suffering.
Luckily they don't have a truck to tempt me, because they solved two of my biggest issues with the JT, other than that nothing much else really bothers me.
