Sorry to hear about your troubles.
Some service writers are just awful.
I was thinking that if you do the "I'm a lemon" wrap, maybe rent a tow truck and pull it around town for awhile. That'll surely get folks attention.
Might want to include the dealership name in the wrap as well.
Just an idea...
I actually plan on doing that and taking it to important places, colleges where social media kids will take off from there,

as an update , the jeep has been back at the dealer for 10 days and they have not even checked it,

Dang thats a bummer! I have a 2021 Jt with the diesel i ABSOLUTELY LOVE just hit 15,000 miles not 1 problem gets 23+mpg with 35's . As a car dealer myself i would be pissed if i was treated that way or one of my customers was treated that way i would definitely find a new Jeep dealer and call Jeep customer care or the mopar 5 star service they will help i hope you get your bugs worked i love mine just ordered a new Gecko green Jt Diesel supposed to arrive end of September! Good luck

I have called Jeep customer service and Mopar and pretty much everyone I could think of and noooo help, so vynil wrap and social media it is, as it was been proven social media is more powerful than anything else, I am hoping this is the case here, all I want is a buy back , no extra money, no vehicle swap(they had the change and blew it), hopefully I can make this issue viral thru TT

Do they not have a certified diesel tech at that dealership?

they do, I have other friends that have use the same dealer for some warranty work, I dont know whats going on, my other friend managed to get his whole DPF system changed in 3 days under warranty, what ever it is, they had "fixed" it and signed a release form where our lawsuit will stop if it was fixed right and in exchanged they would do a small settlement to "pay" for the two payments that I made while the jeep was at the dealer, well Today, I called them and told them I am going to process the lawsuit and avoid the release form since they did not fix it as agreed, is not fixed and it has been at the dealer again over a week and they are still to even look at it, I got a call 10 mins later that the jeep was going to be pull into a bay today, this whole deal out right sucks, I have over 70k for a vehicle I have only been able to drive 7k miles since January, I really hope that once the Tiktok account for the jeep is up and I up load all the videos I have of the issues that it will help, that is ofcourse if jeep doesnt buy it back

Sounds like you're in lemon law territory with that vehicle.
Keep pushing until you're satisfied.
I'll be looking for you on the news!
Good luck.

Does @JeepCares even care?
Yes they do. My 2016 JKURs transmission went south at 50K miles. They first tried to fix by replacing the valve body and some other things (10 days for part to arrive) but the issue was still there. They put a request in for a new crate tranny with Jeep, over a week later it was still not approved and I called customer care. The very next day they got the approval to replace the transmission under warranty.

Then it got interesting, there were no transmissions available in the country and they were told it could be 60 days. I called Jeep again, the dealer had a new transmission in two weeks. The sad part is there were two other JKs at the dealership that had been there for weeks before mine that were waiting for transmissions. I was told a few weeks later than a couple of weeks after I got mine that the other two got their transmissions.

The moral of the story here is instead of 60 days I had my parts and was on the road in about 2 weeks after contacting Jeep. The other two owners never called Jeep and their Jeeps sat there for a few more weeks.

Having said all that, parts availability for the diesel is non existent. When my DPF got clogged they told me that there were no replacement parts for diesels in the country. I still can't get an air filter because dealers don't have them. The problems you have when your motor is made in Italy and they are using available parts to make new ones and none are available to fix existing motors.

I took my JTRD to Bullet Proof Diesel in Mesa, AZ today. The engineers went over it for about an hour taking pictures and measurements. The first words out of their mouths was that the eco diesel in the JT is an engineering nightmare. Not so with the same motor in the Ram truck.

My issues, besides the DPF getting clogged after 7K miles is the derating of the engine when the oil temps start exceeding 240 degrees to a total lack of power over 260 degrees. They are looking to see how they can upgrade the oil cooling capacity and decrease the temps overall. It looks like they will be making a prototype solution and have it ready in about 30 days to try out on my Gladiator. Hopefully this will get rid of the problems I've been having and at the same time help those who are having the same issues.

I used to get 25 to 26 but with the derating issues and 35s I am lucky to get 14 or 15 MPG

I don't know of one dealer in the Phoenix area that has any loaner cars available. When my JTRD was broke down in Odessa, TX, they had no loaners available.

Customer care told me that my warranty didn't have rental car on my JKUR, I have it on my JTRD but if the dealer has none, they have none. Even the Enterprise desk at the dealer had no cars available. It's an industry problem, rental companies sold their fleets at covid and have not been able to replace them due to shortages in the industry.

I came to this site looking for more info on the JT diesel and ideas on how I might mod it when I get it. I’ve read thread after thread of problems with the trucks and the dealerships. This is a bummer! I totally want one of these trucks, or did anyway.
Hey don't let the stories scare you I have a 2021 JT Diesel have not had 1 issue 17,000 miles in I absolutely love it traded my wife.s Jk for a new Jl diesel Furious Fucia ordered it yesterday. Also just ordered a diesel JT in Gecko Green a couple weeks ago I have a good friend who use his JT as a traveling salesman he has 65,000 on his only issue he ever had was a charging problem at 800 miles Jeep put a new alternator on same day and has had no problems since If you get one you'll love it ! I have been a used car dealer for 35 years never had anything more capable stock off road then the JT diesel the torque is awesome ! GOOD LUCK

The stories are real the issues with the 3.0 are real for many of us. Mine was great until it hit 7000 miles and the DPF failed. Has given me problems ever since. MPG has dropped from 25 to 15. Power loss going up hills is real. Dealer can't figure it out and parts availability is non existent they tell me. Not saying not to buy one but be prepared if you do.

Any concerns with future warranty issues once you try their solutions?

Should not be as there is no tuning and the fix deals with additional cooling capacity. Lack of cooling capacity is the primary reason along with high EGTs for the problems people are having. if the radiator is replaced with a better one the only thing they could void is the warranty on the radiator only as it is not OEM.

5hit happens. Cars break. Out of X number of Gladiators on the road, something like this is inevitable.

But what is NOT inevitable is the terrible service experience that you are having.

If the car actually sat for all that time before it was looked at, its inexcusable. No loaner, is inexcusable.

At this point, I'd be demanding daily updates from the service manager, by email, so I could document every action that I and the dealer take.

Document, document, document. You need this for the lemon law buyback.

Hi to everyone, I am new here and I am here to write to you about my experience with a 2021 Jeep Gladiator, hopefully my experience will help someone save their time and money.

so here it is, I bought a 2021 Gladiator Ecodiesel, I bought it for my wife, she loved it, well, we had some small issues from day 3, but those small set backs are nothing compared to the issue at hand,
we managed to put on 4882 miles and had a major breakdown, the Jeep died on the freeway with no warning, the vehicle gets towed to the dealer, the truck sat at the dealer for over 40 days before they started to work on it and that was not till after we contacted an attorney, it turns out, the fuel pump went out, taking him it, the entire fuel system, everything had to be replaced, fuel pump, tank, lines, injectors, some sensors etc etc,

After day 54, the jeep gets fixed and we managed to drive it a whole 140 miles before the check engine light came on and the truck started running rough. Once the truck was back at the dealer, it was diagnose with a P026D code or something like that, the dealer "fixed again", we drove it less than 1000 miles, and the light is on again, not doing the regent properly and its running rough again, that will sum up to be about 65 days at the dealer out of a total of 5 months we have owned this truck, all this time, no loaner, no rental, and the service writer at the dealer suggested to hand me a "box of matches" , the same service writer got mad when I submited all of my info for a claim including his "box of matches" joke, he suggested for me not to fill out the survey because it will look the dealer and the manufacturer bad, please people becareful what you buy, all the good talk about warranty and customer service goes out the door once you sign the bank deal,

I forgot to mention it is also not charging now,
Fill out the survey. All it does is make the dealer look bad to Jeep - and that's a good thing in this case. DO IT, give them honest marks.
Then I'd say you have a solid, rock solid, case for lemon law as far as Iowa's laws go simply because of the time it was with the dealer. You have exceeded the number of days twice for Iowa.
