No I gave up in August. Now I have my eyes on a couple Mojave and Rubicon 6MTs sitting on lots that they can’t sell until the recalls are addressed. They have big discounts marked on them but can’t sell them. I’ll cosider picking one of those up when they can sell them.
You might want to take this as a sign. I did. With Stellantis already saying they're trying to turn Jeep into a friggin Land Rover... yeah... it's not a Jeep any more. And with the seemingly never ending recalls, and you not even able to buy one on the lot? That's the universe telling you to RUN. Heheh.

I hear ya. But if you really believe that, and no disrespect, why are you here? You obviously still like the truck right? If you have a Tacoma (good choice in my book) why else would you check into a JT forum after buying a Tacoma? There are other Jeep forums more along the lines of your TJ, which is hands down the best Jeep ever made IMO, that would be more inline with your interests, right? Is it curiosity? FOMO? Whatever it is, the reason you still check in here is the reason I’m waiting for a resolution for the vehicle I want.

Mostly curiosity if anyone is getting their '23 6 speeds or not. The one I ordered is still on the roster to be built. From January. Which is curious given I canceled that order.

But really, I am mostly just curious about if anyone who's ordered one has gotten delivery yet.

And agreed. The TJ is arguably the best. 18 years old, still running like a Swiss watch.

Dealers can allow buyers to back out of an order but they can’t actually cancel it once a VIN assigned. If jeep builds it, they get stuck with it. It’s not likely that our orders actually get built though. With the exception of the ~42+ post recall JTs and at least 50 post recall JLs, many of which have the recall for the reverse sensor now, there isn’t likely going to be anyone else getting a new 6MT until the strike is resolved. It seems like the strike has paused the remedy release as well. The ‘23s on lots should have started getting remedies at the end of last month. Probably won’t happen with a strike In progress.

Yeah, I don't know what is going on... I suspect Stellantis is trying to kill Jeep. But that's just a theory. Glad I didn't go through with selling my TJ. Would be so weird NOT having a Jeep. Plus what would I do with all my ducks? Lol.

Strange indeed. My order is a year old and it’s still showing up. It’s been a while since I was tracking it, but I seem to recall some of these sites limiting how often they would query the Jeep web service. It may just take some time or maybe it’s just not making new queries any longer and my data is still sitting there with older stuff. You could try reaching out to the guy, his contact info is on the page and also seems still active on https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/members/towerism.86010/
All of the tracking sites have something a little different, so it’s worth chasing down if you can.

What did your option codes look like on this one? Were all the ones you ordered highlighted in purple? I finally got mine to pull up after going to D1 but none of the options are showing.

Yes, it actually went from C to D but not D1. Being a 24, the builds were not supposed to start until 11/13 before the strike so heaven knows now.
Crazy how they calendars from one MY to the next change. My '23 JTM was built 13 Oct 22 and took delivery on 22 Oct 22

So movement from Toledo. Just got email from Jeep.com that my JTURD was shipped yesterday. It has been in holding since Apr due to the recall on the diesel fuel pump.

Jeep Gladiator 2023 Jeep Gladiator Order…What step are you in? Shipped 12 Oct

Dealer confirmed in their side of the system that ETA is 10/13-10/16. Fingers crossed I will get a call early next week.

Awesome! Tom, did you get an 8 speed or a 6 speed manual? I'm guessing an auto. JW for my own order status as well.

So Technically I am at KZX status= delivered.

Due to the Strike..... The 01A recall for the Eco diesel fuel pump has not been completed. Not sure what the logic on shipping it now was other than to clear the factory lots of 2023s in Toledo.

The Glad is in line now to get parts ordered, installed, finish the recall and then I can take it home.

Thanks to the expanded strike at the parts warehouses not looking good for an expedited solution.
Pros-
Good thing is my down-payment keeps growing each month along with the pile of items that are going to be installed ;)
Cons-
Bad thing is the list of items and things to do that require a pickup truck gets shifted to the right.

Well, I guess you can at least visit it? I feel for guys with the manuals and diesels that seem to keep getting hit with one “the part/ fix is coming” delay after another.

I can happily say we are now officially in the last step of taking possession of our Mojave yesterday at Gupton Motors. It was an 8 hour drive from Ohio to get it, but the price and buying process was worth it. Renee and Daniel were super responsive and helpful. Loving it so far! The Punkn orange is so much brighter in person and more reddish in pics.

It looks like ford has reached a tentative deal with the UAW. Let’s see how far behind Stellantis is. I’m ready for my new truck!

I believe Stellantis was doing 23% and COLA plus improved benefits. All they really have to do is get to 25% and match the ford offer. Even with this strike, looks like Toledo is still moving. My tracker is not up to date but my dealer informed me my Jeep is in production and scheduled to finish 11/9.
