Solid deal,

As stated the Max Tow will come 4:10 and widetrack axles just like your Rubi. It won't have the lockers inside. Probably $2500 to swap in just lockers, but most people (like myself) just opt for a front locker. It also gives you locker options: Manual (Ox Locker), Air (ARB), or Electric (Eaton).

Rubicon has sway bar disconnect from the cab. Cool feature, but if I'm doing any offroading that requires be to disconnect the sway bar, I"m also airing down which requires me out of the cab anyways. The autolynx are really nice, but I"ve been really happy with my $100 Metaocloak disconnects too.

Rubicon lift is a bit higher, but most people swap that out anyways, Can pick up a rubicon lift for $200 pretty easily.

That's everything that would really benefit from an off-road standpoint. I guess you could say the offroad packages and all that business on the screen, but I'd consider that more of a novelty than anything else. I've got a Sport S Max Tow and my wife has a wrangler Rubicon. The leather is nice but not a deal breaker by any means. I've got heated seats/steering wheel just like she does so not much of a comparison there.

There are like 15 of them on the lot with the same build/MSRP. All of them have the 15% Jeep rebate, but only a handful have been deeply discounted an additional $7-9.5k. I’m sure they would sell any/all of them at that deep discount with some negotiation. Only thing is they add $4k in add-ons, which is what I’m working on negotiating out right now.
Any updates? 4k plus 35k is a lot and definitely takes it out of the great deal range.

Not yet. I got the black one down to $36k with the cosmetic warranty. It’s a phenomenal deal IMO, but I had my heart set on a green one, of which there are 7 on the lot. They haven’t been sitting long enough to discount deeper, so I’m willing to wait until they are ;)

Hmmm that’s a pretty good price…esp for a new JT.

Thoughts on this 2023 Sport with Max Tow and Dual Doors?

https://www.westcovinacdjr.com/inve...adiator-sport-4x4-crew-cab-1c6jjtag3pl550016/

I had a 2020 JTR for a little over a year before we lemoned it. Maybe looking to get into one again, esp if they can do 2.99% APR.

This Sport with Max Tow has an MSRP of $52.5k, but dealer discount of $9.5k and factory 15% $7.8k brings it down close to $35k.

I know I'll be missing a bunch of stuff that I had in my JTR, but anything else I'm missing before I consider pulling the trigger?

Some thoughts:
--Dual Door Group adds power locks, mirrors, and windows.
--Still no automatic headlights, any way to add it myself?
--Can re-gear and add lockers if I go to 35s... will the anti-spin diff cause any issues with that?
--Anything else that I'll be stuck with and won't be able (or will just cost too much) to upgrade to meet/exceed a Rubi? At $35k for this build, am I better off getting a used Rubi?
All in all, imho this unit at a very decent price is a "raw material" unit for somebody wanting to do a bunch of aftermarket stuff and would rather use the 20K difference in price between this and a Rubicon to do it themselves. The onroad stuff is obviously an afterthought... on this unit.

Yes agreed. Although I did test drive it and it wasn’t as bare-bones as I expected. Was still a gladiator at the end of the day, same engine, same transmission. But the rubber steering wheel was pretty disgusting… will definitely swap it out or wrap it at a minimum.

At Carid, I found a couple of the leather ones OEM... Of course out of stock but not too bad all things considered...

Steering Wheel
black leather, with heat gray stitch.
