We’ve owned it since March….

Don’t look at the undercarriage - Mud stains all over it. 😎 We christened it one week after we owned it. 😁
Is it even a Jeep if it doesn't have mud on it somewhere?

Adventure on!

Did you get the new gen? I’d been waiting and watching the new generation Canyon‘s for a while. I got tired of waiting….. it was into February and March and they still hadn’t released the new trucks yet. So, we traded our 2016 Canyon for the Gladiator. Haven’t looked back!

The 2016 Canyon I had was a nice truck and never let me down. I never had any problems or issues with it - owned it since new for 8 years.

I hope you have good luck with yours!!

Yes. Got the Denali with 2 inch factory lift and 33's on 20's.
I am very pleased with it so far.
It's no way to go apples to apples with something like this and the Gladiator, but it suits my current place in life with a smooth, comfortable ride, and hopefully less required TLC.
The cooled seats got me feeling like I owe the devil something I ain't gonna get out of paying.

Nice! I would've been on the hook for a Denali also. Did you order it or get it off the lot? When did you finally get it??

I hope GM finally got their shit together. I hope you have great success with it and it treats you well.

Off the lot. Last week.
Went to a big Hendrick dealership in Durham, NC first, because they have decent inventory of Chevy and GMC, and I wanted to compare.
Found a truck we liked there, but it quickly became obvious that they are crooks.
Tacked on a few hundred worth of aftermarket junk that nobody asked for, and added a second "window sticker" for $3800. Then they said their Lojack was already installed and not an option to remove and deduct.
They also refused to listen to me about incentives I found in Virginia or even the 1.9%, and I'm mid 800's credit score.
They offered $35K on the Mojave and we told them bye in a hurry.
It's a shame. My wife's dad actually Rick one of his very first cars when Rick was in high school.

Went a few miles to Raleigh and quickly found the same truck, only without the BS add-ons, but with $2770 incentives, 1.9, and $36K for the Mojave.
Saved about $7k on the final OTD price apples to apples.

It's always frustrating buying new vehicles.....
It amazes me that some dealerships pull that shit... They must have enough people that fall for it, that they keep doing it.

I'm glad to hear you told them to 'pound sand' and moved on!! Don't hesitate to give them some poor reviews, you can do that right on google.com (I think). Spread the word....People need to hear about it!

Adding a photo to the review enhances the effectiveness.
I'm a Scorpio, BTW 😆

The wheels were ceramic coated also.... inside & out. ;)
I ceramic coated a Porsche over ten years ago, but didnt do the wheels. The paint still looks brand new and wipes clean with just a little soap and water. The wheels, on the other hand, are pitted and much harder to clean. Good call on getting the wheels coated.

It looks great. I have often thought of DIYing a ceramic coat on my 2021 JTR. I am not confident enough in my buffing and polishing skills though. So, i wash it. Hit it with the spray wet wax and am never satisfied with the results.

My truck is not far from you so….. when can I bring it by so we can get mine done?🤪

Why can’t ceramic coating be an option from the factory or dealership?

Honestly? Knowing what I know now about it (and the process), I wouldn’t trust them to do it and/or they’d outsource it to the low bidder and you wouldn’t know what you’re getting. There’s sooo many different types of coatings - and they don’t have the same longevity. Some only last 1 year and others can last 10 years.

You’re better off looking for a reputable professional yourself - or doing it yourself.

My husband had his BMW done thru the dealership…..5 years ago. He had the car back to them several times after it was done. They didn’t do the wheels like they were supposed to, and there were areas that needed re-done / touched up.
