It’s hard to tell, but does that look like a rock guard between the rear fender and rear bumper just on the Rubicon?

I thought the Rubicon version was getting a unique hood? Maybe that is being saved for the 3.0 diesel version? Rear backup camera seems really out of place as well. I assumed they would have integrated it with the tailgate handle like on the RAM trucks. I wonder if it was done because of the third brake light being integrated into the tailgate handle and braking would cause interference with the camera? Just looks really out of place.
I didn’t even notice the 3rd brake light in the handle. Makes sense tho. But I agree, the camera placement does look odd but there isn’t many other options.

Since we know the frame size Amy idea on total JT size? Would like to tape it off in my garage and picture how it would fit.
Based on the frame and other mid size trucks I’m gonna say the new Gladiator will come in around 216” , give or take 4”.

My 2 Cents I'm a little disappointed in the finnal aperance.Manly from the front doors Back ...but i will wait till the LA auto show before i drop the Gavel.. it seems to me more Scrambler then a Gladiator and four-door only.RIP!.. Everyone in California has a four-door..i hear it Add's 4 inches to one's Peni... it's coming across to me as more of a Stepchild so far... what is it? a Jeep Truck? or a Truck made by Jeep? there is so much I love about IT the leaks so far Are Great like Real Truck stats and Jeep stuff but the length and four Door only. is not so appealing to Me! sounds like the overlanding guys are going to Heaven.... I have a New JL Two door in route to the Dealer Fresh off the press that I am willing to sacrifice for the right Truck. but I'm thinking I'm not going to see it this Year! What we loved about our two-door JK is the sharp turning radius and that Billy goat aspect of wheeling .so it looks like the JL will be coming home soon ....But Not Before Nov 28 lol.. single Cab? extended Cab? Cab and a Half? RIP......

I agree, I was hoping for something a little different in the design. At times it was called a wrangler pick up and other times it was referred to as a wrangler-based pickup. Wrangler based leads me to believe it will be its own vehicle, just with the same bones.
As far as the names, Scrambler makes more sense, historically. But from a marketing standpoint gladiator just sounds better. Plus, we all know Jeep will never make a full-size pickup to carry on that name.
The wording in the doc kinda hints at there being a future short cab variant. Seeing as Jeep claims a 80/20 split for 4door/2door wranglers, they’re gonna go with what’s selling first.

4.71 1st gear in the 8 speed. Times 4:1 for the Rock Trac. Times 4.10:1 for the axle.

77.244
Man I'm an idiot. I've been out of the game for too long. Forgot the axle...

Hadn't seen that, but if so that makes no sense.
Yes it does. Diesel engines spin slower than gasoline so they need taller gears.

The Cheapest used AEV Brute I found on Rubitrux.com is $75k didn't have the HEMI and is a 2013 model no warranty most are above $87k and into 6 figures for a used Brute. Would be interested to know what AEV did a much better job at being that we don't have a production vehicle to compare to.
Brute is not a truck chassis this is...

I was scrolling past this comment as I said to my wife ‘there are finally some real leaks on the new Jeep pickup - they’re calling it the Gladiator’ her response was a very enthusiastic ‘ooooooooh, that’s a good name!’

Soooo, in my world - you’re wrong. ;-)
NO one gives a crap what its called, its going to be looks and performance.

I really think this will be one of those vehicle where pictures dont do it justice, in person it will have presence.

It's gonna have presence in my garage, and everywhere I go. :like:
