Bolts have been in the holder for a few years, never reinstalled

Quick release check is pretty nifty, but not at whatever silly price they are going to cost to upgrade my 2021 if it's even made available

Maybe you could fit the old Ford parts in post #20 and do it cheaper.

Wonder if that’s the Jeep Recon’s door 🤔
I was just thinking the same thing, that’s the interior of the Recon

Take a close look at the skin on the exterior of the door - that's no JL door skin.

Interesting. The ones on mine feel as though you'd sooner rip them off the doors than to get them to fold.
I thought they had to fold by gov regulation since maybe the early 80's. Originated in europe, narrow streets clipping pedestrians was the genesis....not joking toured the Mercedes plant in Stuttgart back in the late 70's and I think that where I heard that...

Found it: " ECE Regulation 46 requires that side mirrors be mounted such that they swing away when struck by a test cylinder meant to represent a pedestrian." That's the EU's rule.

Question that pops to mind watching that video is when did the outside mirrors become foldable?

Lift and twist. They can get junk inside. Mine haven't been able to move in years.

There were a lot of weird things about the jeep in the video:

At first it looked like the outside had a new body line going across the lower part of the door. But it got strange at the end of the jeep and now I think it is just a reflection.

Several black panels, roof, below windshield and inside of door.

The front and rear rim are the same, but the rear is missing the machined outer ring that is currently on the rims.

In one scene, the side of the interior dash is tan. Wouldn’t it be neat to actually be able to get a full tan interior, and not just tan seats?

Pulled mine off and put them in the bolt holder day 1. I haven't touched them since.
Are you talking about the inside hinge bolt? Are you pushing that tension arm (or whatever you call it) totally inside the door?

Or are you talking about the outside hinge bolts? I’ve taken my outside nutserts off and left them off. But I always attach the inside hinge bolt/tension arm.

Gee, I never thought the existing system was all that tough or slow - goes pretty fast. Worst part is that stupid ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
Exactly….. that’s the worst part!!! …… although, these quick disconnects would be nice. With something aftermarket, you’d need to pop out the original pin. You might as well go to your local hardware store and look for a ‘pin’ that’d fit the current setup. It can’t be that hard…

I just wouldn’t have the guts to pop out the original pin….😆

I dont understand why it matters what color your jeep is....what am I missing?
It matters…to me anyway. I absolutely hate WHITE. Every-other vehicle around here is WHITE WHITE AND WHITE. Soooo BORING!!! Dare to be different. I’m not a fan of purple, green, or yellows on a vehicle, but I could be convinced to get one someday. My husband might not want to drive it…..😉 He’s a ‘guy’ color …grey, dark grey, light grey, any other variation of grey.

Bluetooth disconnect is what I want! Like the Bluetooth oil funnels. Designed for when we get old Bill. When we get old? 😄 🤣
