Why would you want an engine in an EV platform? Why wouldn't you just buy a wrangler?

Agreed. Its a daily driver EV, so it fits the niche and its a Jeep, which is a big plus for me. Saw some renderings on the Jeep Recon forums with a small lift, 35s and flares. NICE.

Similar to how I felt about the JTs when they first hit the dealerships. It was cool to finally see one live, but I wasn't impressed, especially aesthetically, in stock form. At that time, I knew if it was lifted with some aggressive 35s or 37s they would have something.

A small ICE would be nice as a generator to turn the unit into a Hybrid. It would be nice to drive an electric that didn’t need a charger every 150 miles and one that could take care of its own charging out on a trail. I don’t want a full electric that relies on charging stations.
