If cutting the hood would actually help they would have done it, the 392 for example has a working Mojave hood for it's intake. The cooling limit is the frontal air flow to the radiator, not back pressure in the engine bay limiting exit flow so hood vents and scoops aren't going to do much for actual cooling.For such a small bay I figured they’d be useful given the design of the rubicon is off road focused, so prolonged engine load. They love fake scoops and shit. Not complaining it’s a nice design.
