When is somebody going to design a tonneau cover with a 52" wide TV that comes out of the bed so I can watch tv in a parking lot on sundays?

This is from Rhino Rack customer service in regards to their/Oztent's awning.

"The tent from “fox wing” will fit, that is made by oz tent, the tent on amazon is a oz tent. We are working on it and there is some cool stuff coming out but, we don’t have any more information than that for now.

Cheers

I plan on getting the Leitner bed rack. It seems that the cross rails on that one come up just over the cab. So there shouldnt be an issue
That might work, but for me it might be tight. I'm just a hair under 6'2" and the Gladiator sits at 75" tall (6.25 feet) so not a lot of headroom to spare.

Once i get the JT with a rack like the leitner it'll mount to the top of that.
Just not sure if it will be high enough. Thats the only thing I would worry about.

anybody ever see an ikamper x-cover? It has a hard top so you can mount stuff to that too.

iKamper makes good stuff I read a lot of great reviews on their stuff about a year ago, but I also noticed pricing on them has came way down and you can find on them deep discounts, so I was wondering if they are having issues (aka closeouts) or if they are jsut trying to be more competitive.

That's why you put the gladiator on a 3.5" lift and 37"s

I'm all for 37s but not 3.5" lifts. I prefer LCG style set ups.
I normally would agree with you, but with the JT's breakover angle. I feel like a 3.5" lift is need to get over things.

In the US - especially California - I'd go passenger side. There are some really good beach camping spots on the coast where you basically parallel park with your passenger side door facing the ocean. Driver's side is a road. Those specific campgrounds are probably a corner case (no pun intended) but I can definitely see times I'd like to use the awning over a sidewalk when parked.

Poop, you're too late drogers, that awning over the sidewalk idea was a good one, but I already bought the driverside one....

Dory got a new hat today. Or maybe it's a beret?

I bought a driver side Rhino Rack Batwing off Amazon. I then used the Yakima universal mighty mounts to mount it to my cross bars. I decided to use all 4 of them just to be safe. I had to drill out one hole a bit to get it done, but not too bad.
The ladies at the post office couldn't handle my package. :giggle:

but i found several broken parts of the cover, boo. and a few scuffs or white paint on the back.
