Yea, he said so one night on Conan O'briens show. Or at least they could not make a movie that that today (2018 before he died).Burnt Reynolds probably regretted making that movie.
I can't imagine going over 75 on some stretches of I77 between Charleston and Virginia. That stretch of road after the first toll booth going south is enough to avoid with any weather.Nope 70 is max in WV and thats only on 2 highways . 77& 79 . Rest of the state is 65 and 55 and under.. hardly a stretch ling enough and straight enough to get up to 90mph and slow back down before some humongous curve![]()
Me personally, I avoid talking about OPPGo drive a 2.5 and come talk to me
The F-350 diesel doesn’t go to the mall… haha!I hate to try to park next to those at the mall.
More of their owners should be like you!The F-350 diesel doesn’t go to the mall… haha!
Horrible stretch of road, holds water when it rains, some curves banked the wrong way. I witnessed that 12 mile back up 4th of July week when they had that rain washout, people sat in their vehicles over night, 9 hours with no food, water or medicine if needed because nobody in the turnpike authority had the common sense to turn vehicles around to clear that backup. It went all the way to the second toll booth. I'll bet those people still had to pay the last $4.50 toll!I can't imagine going over 75 on some stretches of I77 between Charleston and Virginia. No. Dealer won't do that. They would also risk you griping about heat while towing.Someone mentioned that the 3.6L for the RAM 1500 gets a different tuning to like 305 HP and a bit more torque.
I wonder if one can simply take their JT to a stealership and get the engine management computers reprogrammed with that tuning?
And moreover, is the RAM 3.6L made any differently like a stronger lower end to handle the extra ponies?
I can't think of a reason (other than "possibly" pleasing one customer) why a dealer would want to begin tweaking anything beyond what is standard, defined, documented and repeatable when it comes to repairs. If they start messing outside of the Stellantis comfort zone, even if it works and performs as good or better than the OE stuff, then they will "own" the modification. If something goes wrong, it's back on them. Take it to another dealer later, and they will point you back to the original dealer. Think about some kid who just learned how to shave working on your Jeep; he reads the manual, sees the specs, hopefully does what the manual says to do, and that is the end of the conversation.Someone mentioned that the 3.6L for the RAM 1500 gets a different tuning to like 305 HP and a bit more torque.
