I guess you can do that in West Virginia.

I saw the movie Deliverance many years ago. Now it clicks with me.
She has 2 feet just like me if she wants deliverance she can walk 😂 but dont touch my Gladiator.

Burnt Reynolds probably regretted making that movie.

Yea, he said so one night on Conan O'briens show. Or at least they could not make a movie that that today (2018 before he died).

Growing up in NJ, I thought I never wanted to break down driving through WV. That guy in the movie, "Cowboy" still gives me the creeps when I watch the movie.

Nope 70 is max in WV and thats only on 2 highways . 77& 79 . Rest of the state is 65 and 55 and under.. hardly a stretch ling enough and straight enough to get up to 90mph and slow back down before some humongous curve 😂
I can't imagine going over 75 on some stretches of I77 between Charleston and Virginia. That stretch of road after the first toll booth going south is enough to avoid with any weather.

The F-350 diesel doesn’t go to the mall… haha!
More of their owners should be like you!
I've seen so many people use them as their daily drivers, when they can't really drive them anyway. Can't stay in a lane, can't park, thinks they need four foot extended mirrors to see around their truck nuts...

Horrible stretch of road, holds water when it rains, some curves banked the wrong way. I witnessed that 12 mile back up 4th of July week when they had that rain washout, people sat in their vehicles over night, 9 hours with no food, water or medicine if needed because nobody in the turnpike authority had the common sense to turn vehicles around to clear that backup. It went all the way to the second toll booth. I'll bet those people still had to pay the last $4.50 toll!

I can only speak to my own experience with my 21 JTR, but in Upper Michigan with 35s and an RTT I am shifting down to 3rd to make steep inclines trying to maintain 55 mph. My 2 door Rubicon has no issues like this. I almost never use 6th gear. A little more torque would be lovely! Off road I don’t need more, I have 4-Lo and can ride the brake in first and practically stop without stalling- but it keeps my right arm in shape and a healthy measure of patience to get to the trailhead or destination with the overland gear on.

I avoided the recalls as long as I could, but I am sure they got me at the first or second top end rebuild, and I feel they tuned down the power so I wouldn’t explode the clutch!

Someone mentioned that the 3.6L for the RAM 1500 gets a different tuning to like 305 HP and a bit more torque.

I wonder if one can simply take their JT to a stealership and get the engine management computers reprogrammed with that tuning?

And moreover, is the RAM 3.6L made any differently like a stronger lower end to handle the extra ponies?

No. Dealer won't do that. They would also risk you griping about heat while towing.

I can't think of a reason (other than "possibly" pleasing one customer) why a dealer would want to begin tweaking anything beyond what is standard, defined, documented and repeatable when it comes to repairs. If they start messing outside of the Stellantis comfort zone, even if it works and performs as good or better than the OE stuff, then they will "own" the modification. If something goes wrong, it's back on them. Take it to another dealer later, and they will point you back to the original dealer. Think about some kid who just learned how to shave working on your Jeep; he reads the manual, sees the specs, hopefully does what the manual says to do, and that is the end of the conversation.

The dealer will not be here on the forum looking for solutions like we do. With most dealers, when it comes to modifications, they take the approach of "you break it, you bought it.
