I got mine June 28th. Took this photo on September 29. Have maybe 5K on tires.
Discount will replace it for me.... Was disappointed in this.

This is really good to know. I was about to pull the trigger on a set of these. I don't get out wheeling as much as you do but I camp all summer and hunt all fall and winter so I tend to beat the hell out of my tires.

Not good. I'd expect a little more resilience out of an MT.

My Wildpeak MT was much better. Even my tire guy was shocked.
I ran Imogene, Ophir, Mini Moab, China wall and a few easier trails up to that point.
Could be just a bad tire. Discount will replace it. I'm keeping an eye on it now to see if it deteriorates more.

Not good. I'd expect a little more resilience out of an MT.

So my order from cj pony parts for wheels, tires and leveling kit plus extras was canceled due to them not knowing when they would get, well, any of those items…

I now have a new order en route for my freedom max tow stock suspension. Based on research and general consensus around here, these should fit…. I hope?

35” Toyo Open Country A/T III

The embedded pic shows the wheels but not the correct tires.

They should arrive this coming Wednesday so with any luck, I should have fitment pics sometime shortly after.

Got the new wheels and tires put on last night. Fits great with zero rubbing. I tried to go up on some inclines around town to test rubbing with some articulation but could not get it to rub. I’m sure if you loaded the bed down and/or went off roading you probably could get it to rub at some point but def will not while mall crawling. Despite that, I think I will still probably get a leveling kit down the road.

I joined the club today. Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo3 315/70r17. I hope they split the difference for my daily driven but occasionally trail going gladiator. No rubbing, but I haven't disconnected the sway bar yet. They'll see some light trails tomorrow, so we'll see how they do. I think some gladiators come with these tires (different size of course) stock, and my wife's Wrangler has the old version of these on it. I like how they sit with the fenders. No poke, just perfectly flush.

If I you hadn't said those were 315/70-17s I would have never guessed that. They look like the stock tire size.

So you're gonna break them in at AOAA huh??

I'm running AEV Salta-XR wheels, which are Gladiator specific with the backspacing and offset to allow very little tire poke, with Toyo MT 35x12.50s. Interestingly, I had originally ordered satin black wheels....but they sent the Onyx color, and it matches perfectly with the granite crystal paint, so I decided to go with the Onyx wheels.

That looks great. If I experience any run with no lift/no spacers, I'll have to give AEV a try. Spacers more than .5" wide are illegal in Pennsylvania, and so is poke, so I'm having a hard time staying tucked and finding something that doesn't rub.

You can search Ali Mansour on youtube, it was his research and actual experience on his Gladiator which led me to AEV. No rub with 35s and very little with 37s with no lift! AEV has 3 or 4 Gladiator specific wheels that allow up to a 12.50 with very little poke. Of course for much rock crawling a lift is probably going to be a must, especially with 37s, but you can run 37s on the street with no lift! I stayed with 35s and no lift, as for now that fits my needs, and I didn't want the truck to get to tall. LOL

Yep, sure did. And these tires passed the test. Money well spent. Great on the highway, with no mpg or acceleration penalty compared to my 33 inch MTs, since these way exactly the same. Smooth riding on the interstate. Great handling on the trails. I'm a little worried about the thinner sidewall and less knobby tread, but they handled aoaa just fine today. Surprisingly I did not miss my MTs

They just look small for a 315. When your get a chance can you measure the actual height. Maybe it's just the angle that's throwing me off.

34.4". Already did, when I calibrated the speedometer. They aren't so knobby, so they "look" smaller than they are. They come in as advertised. To be honest, I thought the same when they were mounted. I do miss the aggressive look of the Falkens though. But man, these are smooth.
