Finally got some wheels and tires on this thing, 5th choice on wheels and 3rd on tires but oh well. Ended up with 37x12.5x17 BFG All Terrains on Black Rhino Recon wheels.
First, the BFGs measure about 35.5" at 35 psi with the weight of the truck on them. Oh well

The Recon wheels have more offset t han I'd hoped so I have 2x the poke out I'd hoped for. Guess I'll be washing it more often than I normally do

Balanced ok, tpms agrees with a gage so I'm in business for now

That may be my next tire, once the Nitto RG's wear out.

Thanks XJ, it's growing on me more and more.

I really wanted Falken AT3s, ive had both, in fact my scrambler has 35" BFGs on it now. But these were in stock and could be shipped immediately sooooo. Didn't expect them to be quite so short but oh well.

I've been looking at those wheels as well and was worried about too much poke. I think I like the look.

Same tires here on Quadratec Morphic wheels 5.2in Backspace (+10mm Offset) and I have been 100% happy with with them! I did the chalk test and I ended up at 28 psi.

I’m running those tires on similar wheels. I added fender flares and mud flaps. Keeps the tires from destroying your paint job.

How do you like the RG’s?
I also have the RG’s. I’ll get roasted for this, but they are the worst tire I’ve ever ran. Terrible in anything other than dry pavement. Rain and snow are scary. Off-road they aren’t any better than the KO2’s I ran before them. I’m not convinced with the RT segment of tires, you get the worst of AT and MT. The RG’s look cool, but I’m either going a true AT or MT next time.

I now have the BFGs in 315-70-17, about 34 1/4 tall. I really like the look of the BFG in 37's but with all that goes with them I have decided to keep the 315s . My Method wheels are 0 offset so I have a little more poke than you, not a big deal. Those are about 13% taller than the 385s and these weigh 72 pounds each. Keep the sides waxed. If you clear the tires then the body is good. Have you tried a full flex with front tires turned all the way? It's probably going to rub. Please report as I am not done with the idea of 37's like those.

I had the same tires on my jeep and they definitely aren't 34-1/4 mounted, more like 33.8 with 33psi in the tires. BFG makes a great tire but they run way small. Mine with them installed

The BFGs do seem to run small but I'll tell you what, they have been quiet on the road, good in the snow, and have performed well aired down on the rocks.
