Where I live, electricity is cheap and plentiful. We export it to other states from here.my gut engineering sense is that it would be a useful powertrain. A bit step forward from where we are if can do 70% of lifecycle miles on free clean energy from my roof
With our JLU 4xe we can drive the first 25 miles after a charge for $1.18 in the winter, and about $1.79 in summer months when there's more demand.
Plus - it feels like driving a V8 most of the time.
