I went with the Iron Rock 2" lift. My thought process; I liked the way it handled and rode currently. A spacer lift "should" leave the truck riding the same. Handling would primarily only be affected by the change in the center of gravity from raising it. A big concern for me was spending big money on a "high quality" lift and being really disappointed with how the truck rode or handled on the street. The Iron Rock lift would let me see how I would like my current truck lifted for not much money. Little things like getting in and out or how easy is it to reach things in the bed are a consideration. I did add the quick disconnect end links from Iron Rock as well. Upgraded shocks can be added later if I feel like I want or need them. Axle offset was minimal. I can add adjustable track bar(s) later if I want. I probably will just because I like to buy stuff and install it on my vehicles. lol.
So far I'm liking the lift. Some of my concerns about the change have been negated and I feel like I will not return to stock height. I went through the range of motion before installing the springs. With the stock Max Tow shocks I really should install a bump stop extension in the rear. If I don't end up replacing the shocks, I'll likely weld something up out of some 1" angle.
