Upfit by AEV Packages Available for New 2024 Jeep® Gladiator

• For new 2024 Jeep® Gladiator, American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) is offering three upfit packages: Upcountry, Upcountry+ and Level II
• Upcountry and Upcountry+ upfits by AEV, available for Gladiator Sport, Willys, Mojave and Rubicon, offer AEV 2.0-inch suspension kit and 35-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires
• Level II upfit by AEV, with 37-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires, increases capability of Gladiator Rubicon with up to 16 inches of ground clearance, 36 inches water fording, 57-degree approach angle, 26-degree breakover angle and 34-degree departure angle

Auburn Hills, Mich. September 13, 2023- American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) is now offering exclusive upfit packages for the new 2024 Jeep® Gladiator.

Customers can place AEV upfit orders for the 2024 Gladiator through their local Jeep dealer this month. Vehicles will ship directly from the Toledo Assembly Complex to AEV for upfit, then to the customer’s dealer of choice.

“The dealer orderable AEV upfit packages for the new 2024 Jeep Gladiator give Jeep truck owners even more capability and customization choices,” said Jim Morrison, senior vice president and head of Jeep brand North America. “This selection of upfit packages for the 2024 Gladiator gives our passionate off-road enthusiasts the option to pick the upfit package that best suits their off-roading adventures.”

Available on Gladiator Sport, Willys, Mojave and Rubicon, AEV upfits come in three levels: Upcountry, Upcountry+ and Level II. These exclusive upfit packages, led by the Level II, increase capability of Gladiators with up to:

Level II specifications:

• 16 inches of ground clearance
• 36 inches of water fording
• 57-degree approach angle
• 26-degree breakover angle
• 34-degree departure angle

Upcountry specifications:

• 15 inches of ground clearance
• 35 inches of water fording
• 47-degree approach angle
• 25-degree breakover angle
• 33-degree departure angle

Probably, but it will be an engineered spacer specially designed to maximize load carrying capacity and improve road manners when carrying a roof top tent for overlanding. Pair that with custom valved 5100's to match the improved handling the spacers will provide......That alone is worth like $3-4k?

Interesting. The AEV Level II Rubicon upfit is basically what I’ve built. Nice to have it out of the box for some with full warranty and 37’s from the factory!

I would like to know if the level 2 includes regearging. It says something about Jeep confidence in the trucks to not regear.

Of interest to me is the "JPP/Mopar flare extensions". I assume these will be manufactured specifically for the rear Gladiator fenders instead of the hack we have to use now.

Build it yourself, and save HUGE! Wow no option for regearing with 37”, checks all the boxes for mall crawling. (BFG’s 37” really just 35”). Not a big fan of the bumpers. Just my .02!

I live in Massachusetts (until I retire in 2 years) and most exciting part of it for me has nothing to do with buying one of these BUT its the specs. We have ridiculous lift laws which involve actual math formulas and the reliance of OEM equipment for legal standards. Let me explain…..maximum allowable mechanical lift for 4x4 vehicles is determined by wheel track x wheelbase divided by 2200. For the Gladiator, these numbers are 64.4 x 137.7 divided by 2200. This comes out to like 4.065 inches total mechanical lift for the gladiator. I have the Clayton 3.5 overland plus lift on my 21 Rubicon. (Legal)

The maximum allowable tire size is amount of allowable lift (4.065 inches) added to THE LARGEST TIRE FITTED TO THE VEHICLE FROM THE MANUFACTURER (previously 33” on the Rubicon) now its 37” so 39’s even 40’s on a Clayton 3.5 is legal and will pass state inspections.
