93 mile Roundtrip 27.3 MPG

Just took a trip over to Damascus Va from Boone NC and back to Boone. 93 miles roundtrip in my 2021 deisel. 27.3 MPG! Who else is getting this kind of mileage?

I've got a gas Gladiator. I saw 27 average mpg once. I filled up at a station at the top of a hill and reset the odometer. At the bottom of the hill I was at 38. Within 2 miles I was at 19. ha.

I think I could get that.. going down hill.. with a strong wind behind me.. in neutral.. if i got out and pushed..

I wish. I haven't come close to those numbers in mine yet. I did 178mi on Sunday out to Cabela's in PA from NJ and only averaged 22.5 mpgs all highway doing 75 mph, but it was still climbing on the way home. Also didn't help as I was in the boost going up a lot of hills, but mine isn't broken in yet and only has about 600 miles on it as well.

I can get that running 60-65 mph around here. No faster.

If I cruise at 55-60mph I can get in the high 20s, sometimes even close to 30. But right now I'm averaging 17mpg and my Jeep is stock. I'm afraid of what'll happen in a couple weeks when I put on the 4.5" lift and 37s.

I had a 600+ mile trip average of 27.5 or so. Actually hit 29 on the way up and 27+ on the way home.

That is pretty good! I have a gas jt and find mileage in town varies hugely based on how I “modulate” the pedals. I was getting near 20mpg mostly city today by being very light and coasting a lot but usually in town I am more in the 16.5-17 range hammering on the gas. I see over 23 on long highway trips going 75ish. Bet I could see 24-25 if I dropped that highway speed down to 65. These trucks have the aerodynamics of a boat sail so more mph and the mpgs really start to drop fast.
