My last purchase, I was deeply disappointed with the Eco-Boom series of engines.

I was excited about the "Coming Out" of the Bronco.

Once seeing the engine selections, not so much.

Now hearing the issues with the 2.7 Eco-Boom.

So far my first Jeep has been a joy, and I am really enjoying it.

Now I appreciate my Gladiator that much more.

I can't quite tell your purpose for posting this, so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and add that:

  1. I love this paint job.
  2. I love that Ford isn't afraid to take a stand, even if that means alienating a couple of people who may have bought their vehicles.

If a company showing a small modicum of support for a historically disenfranchised people makes you happy you switched brands... I don't know what to say to you.

Unless I am misunderstanding the purpose of your post, we're not on the same side on this one.

Not only I don't care what people do in their own bedroom, where they put something, or changes they've made to their bodies, I don't want to know. Why do I constantly need to be told about it? Just make cars and let people live their lives.

Anyways it's pandering (if anything, I'm going to agree with the OP, that turns me off). They don't actually care. Wake up

Issues with the 2.7L are about as common as issues with the 3.6L.

I’m happy both companies are showing support. Let people live and be happy.

FWIW i put 60k miles on my '19 F-150 with the 2.7 ecoboost - I never had a SINGLE issue. just oil changes (every 3k miles) i always used 93 for fuel. I loved that engine it pulled hard and i could get well over 23mpg on the highway - 25 if i was easy on the right foot.
