Years ago I had a Saab 900 Turbo. One of the old school ones. With the key in the floor.

As a theft deterrent the manual transmission car locked in Reverse. You had to put it in Reverse to get the key out. Then the sifter was locked there.

I once handed the car off to Valet parking at a Chart House and when I got out of dinner the car was parked in front with the Ferraris and S Class Benzes. It turns out they couldn't figure how to get the key out. So they had to park it in front where they could see it.
Reminds me of when my Suzuki Samurai was parked next to a Lambo in front of a hotel because it was raining and the valet "couldn't find the button" for my crank windows. LOL!

We live in Southern Nevada (only a few miles from the Las Vegas Strip), and long ago I learned to never valet any vehicle except for rentals - not mine, not worried. I have a ‘21 Rubicon with a manual, and my wife has the (apparently rare) ‘17 Renegade with a manual. After witnessing six (yes, 6!) people try to move the Renegade at a car wash (couldn’t figure out the electric parking brake), I just say “I’ll drive it myself” everywhere. Unbelievable what happened to the OP…
