I have zero want or need to lift. I live in Delaware. Not only do we not have hills or obstacles to climb, much of the state is actually below sea level. You would never know it by looking around. Tons of lifted Jeeps and bro dozers. LOL I'm good with my 285/70-17s at stock height. I do have a set of Rubicon take-offs that I haven't installed and may never. I do want to do a 3/4" front level to take out a little of the rake.

Retired, thank God
All this time I was wondering where I fit in as a first time Jeep owner and can finally now identify as a proud Philistine. I learned early on that the Overland was already considered by many as "second class" and one step below a dolled up, mall crawler.

I looked at all the upgrades you can do with the tires/wheels and suspension but where does it end and how much use will it actually get in my situation? Is it for looks or application?

I love my Overland just the way it is. Other than adding a bed cover, roof rack/basket and a hood deflector, nothing else planned except to relocate the satellite antenna for now.

When the tires go I'll upgrade to 285/70-18" (is this a practical upgrade) all season because I am rarely off-road. If I can make the run up to Crown King, I'm pretty much set. Maybe some better shocks....

Thanks for starting a great thread!

How do you like the bike? I just picked up an Intense Primer.

Jason, I love it... this is my 2nd primer (2017 and now a 2020) and love the updates on this one. If you have any issue getting your rear shock dialed in, I recommend trying a coil - first time coil for me and I love the difference it makes.

Guess this a bit of hybrid, but ultimately 100% aligned in keeping geometry as stock as possible.

I simply added Rubi Shocks (4 corners) and Springs (front only) along with adding a 1.5” TeraFlex spacer to the front. My Rubi fenders should arrive on Monday too. Not going any higher!

running 315/70/17 (almost 35’s :) )

I'd like to throw on some Rubi takoffs (or Mojave, if it fits) to squeeze some 35x11.5s on though.

Kiddo looks like he’s having a blast. That’s what it’s all about. Most just want to sit behind a gaming console these days. ??

Thats why I got the Mojave, no lift needed, the factory suspension is awesome and 37/13.5/18 bolted right on.

Your Mojave looks kick ass with them 37's . Just ordered mine a week ago and vant wait get it.. hopefully there's no delay in building it since they have this semiconductor chip shortage. I'll prob do 35's later. What's your gas mileage with them 37's?

I firmly believe a lot of buyers start adding stuff before they have even driven their Jeep in stock configuration.

Now, I am old, 68, but am 6’ 1” and my stock Mojave is juuust right to get into! I may add 35’s when my MT 33’s wear out, but I’m not even sure of that. After a trip to FL and back I am convinced the engineers really got the overall package as close to perfect stock as any vehicle I have owned. And I have owned a bunch of Jeep’s and 4WD pickups thru the years always modifying and adding tires/wheels always.
I may add a supercharger, but my 3.6 w/4:10’s hit 92mph easy on some two lane passing in some southern states!

I even like the stock bumpers! I have been hard pressed to find an aftermarket bumper that looks as good as the stock one, especially trying to use the stock orange recovery hooks, which I like. (Now if I find a Steel Rubicon at a decent price, I would do that)

I won’t be doing any tough off roading with mine, those days are behind me, including racing a CJ5 in off road racing in the 70’s, but this Mojave stock will handle anything I want to do with it and still be a comfortable daily driver with all the bells and whistles.

I guess you may interpret this as, I love my Mojave!

92 mph to pass? How fast are the cars/trucks going that you are passing? ?????
