Having proudly served in The U.S. Army, during the closing daze of the M715 5/4 ton truck, of which we had 14 in our Motor Pool, all with the OHC straight six. That could carry a decent load over some of the toughest terrain and 30” water crossings, unless you had a deep water fording kit that would let you drive under water. The biggest issue was the Army’s high level of no tolerance for oil leaks of any type, was the biggest side liner of the engine.

Uh ,that is a Jeep Gladiator, the Jeep you are driving is stealing the same name, but it is a pickup so cool ! My brother had one I had a 78 J-10 which was the same truck. A lot of guys here have put the vintage logos on their truck. ….Jack

PS , you can get stick on replica logos which are pretty cool looking actually.
