Huh ? Pretty sure all Borah’s are are 17’s and 80% of JL’s and JT Gladiators are 17’s
Lid, your reply was very appreciated. My mistake. I was thinking of the Salta wheel manufactured by AEV.

Has anyone mounted them on the Gladiator? It was designed for the JK Wrangler. Curious how it looks with the offset and stance mounted on a 35” AT

For those of you with the Borah's mounted as functional bead locks...did you mount them yourselves? I'm having one HELL of a time with the bead lip and my tires. I've done these in the past many times and I've never struggled as much to get the bead of the tire over the front lip so that I can start bolting the ring down. As I work around the bead seating it another part of the bead just pops off.

I ended up having to seat 3/4 of it and then light bolt the ring on. Then put a bit of pressure on the 1/4 that wasn't seated and use a tire iron to push the bead out while tightening just at tad on the nearest bolt.

I read in the AEV forum that there is a Salta redesign coming soon with correct JT/JL offset. No pics were posted though.

I am looking at the exact same tire's with the AEV Borah wheels. How have you been liking your setup.
See post above about mounting. The mounting lip on the Milestars are a bit angled. Actually ended up trimming them straight with a razor which helped mounting tremendously. Other than that fiasco, I love the setup so far. So far the tires have done very well in anything I've put them through.

Thats good to hear. I am not worried about mounting as I will just pay discount tire & get the extras that go along with it so I dont have to deal with that. The only thing holding me back is the +offset & not being sure they will clear my lower control arms. I have Clayton so they are way wider then Mopar. Gotta get down underneath & check the lock to lock clearance with them.

The AEV Borah machined finish for the jk is $204 with the hardware kit.
I have the max tow and wonder how it will look with that specific backspacing....I don’t want it to stick out too much.

If I remember right thats a +4 offset.. Thats going to be hard to tell apart that stick out from all the many many 0 offset wheels all over the forum. I am going to pay the extra to get the JL version with its +25 offset which is in total about an inch narrower on each side compared to my current 0 offset wheels that stick out farther then I prefer

I should have mentioned that the mounting issue is ONLY if you are using the real bead lock rings. Traditional mounting is fine.

I wanted the JL offset also. In my opinion they fit perfectly under the flares. I did not want 1/2 the tire sticking out on the sides.

These Borah wheels are definitely at the top of my wish list if I ever upgrade from the stock Rubi wheels. I wish they offered a forged version or found some way to reduce the weight, but I guess they are well engineered.

I have JK Borah’s in Galaxy Black on 285/75/17 Nitto’s on mine & they only stick out a little & have plenty of clearance with brakes these Trucks have really big brakes. I hear pintlers for JK have clearance issues. I have no lift & no issues
I like the way they fit. What is the Offset on the wheel?
