What is the difference in jl vs jl with aev
Whats your question here? The JL/JT version of the wheels have an offset that’s optimized for the JL/JT.

From what I’ve read about the JT…depending on trim level/axle width and the width of your chosen tires, you MAY be able to run the JK offset wheels, but there MAY be some rubbing. That’s a “your mileage may vary” (YMMV) kind of thing.

My two cents…unless you’re getting JK offset AEV wheels at “fell off the back of a truck” pricing, I’d just order the JL/JT offset wheels to avoid possible headaches.

Stock “no poke” with JTR wheels and 285’s.

AEV JL/JT offset Pintler minimal “poke” w/ 315/70-17’s.

Thanks...i found it on their site. Looks like the jk is +4 offset. Im running black rhino abrahms now -18. So the jk version would sit in between the jl version and what I have...not closer.

I am sitting way out there now.

Here's a pic of mine JK Borah +4 w/37x12.5 tires on an Overland. Narrow axles and flares.

I painted the bolts that came with the wheels. Silver stuck out like a sore thumb.
Curious to know what type of paint you used and how it has been holding up? I have been looking into black button head bolts but paint could be a cheaper, maybe better, option.

Nothing special, just satin black from a can. A few of them need touched up after install from the socket. Might not be my end all solution, but for now it works. I didn’t want to use some junk bolts that were going to rust in 6 months. If you find something that is good, report back on here please !
