Maybe we could all meet up at Knoxville OHV. Not a lot going on there but probably pretty central for us all to meet up at.

I sent out a PM to a couple of you on this thread that expressed interest in getting together. If you’re watching this thread check your messages. If you didn’t get one and would like to meet up in NorCal send me a message.

Made my own base plate for the bed yesterday. It’s not finished I still need to bolt it down. Before all that I need to do some sealing in the bed for dust and I’m thinking of carpeting the plywood. Give it a more cozy feeling. ?
For the wood I used 1/2” Baltic birch.
on another thread on here someone recommended getting a 5’x5’ sheet but after calling all the lumber yards near me, no one had that size. So just went with 4’x8’ and it works fine.

Thanks for putting up photos.

I'm looking at one of these myself. Just wondering if you are able to access the bed from inside the camper? Or do you have to exit camper to gain access to the bed? (When bed is down for use)

Thanks for any help

You can access the bed of the truck from the tent (while the tent bed is down) but it’s through like an 8” access panel. So it’s kind of a tight fit. I do it from time to time but the ladder is the easiest
