@PhantomChameleon Did you ever find out which kit works the best with the 2" Mopar lift on a Rubicon?

I just called Air Lift and they couldn't tell me anything for an application other than stock. Felt like it was more of a CYA/liability thing vs. them not knowing the info.

No, still very unclear on which Airlift kit/combination of products will work best with the 2in Mopar lift. It seems like no option is quite right, and I'm not one for going with products that "might work OK".

At this point, I am likely going to be going with the Timber Grove kit discussed in the last couple pages of this thread. Steve, the owner, is working on an adjustable mount that will be able to accommodate lifts of varying heights. He has developed the mount and has sent it away to production and is waiting to get the finished product back. I am expecting an update once that happens, so very hopeful that this could be the ideal solution!

So i've been reading this thread over the last couple days trying to catch up. Unfortunately, i now have information paralysis!!

So can someone tell me explicitly which Air Lift kit I need for a 2020 JT Rubicon with the 2" Mopar lift?
If you want to lower cost alternative and aren't putting more than maybe 750-1000lb in the bed intermittantly, the called out Airlift application should work just fine. I've got mine inside of Clayton 2.5 springs for the past year with some heavy hauling and off road without a single issue.

If you are gooing to haul more and/or have a higher budget, I'd wait for the Timber Grove solution as the bags are rated for more weight and are of higher quality.

My understanding is that the Gladiator kit is the correct width, and that the width is the most important factor as the air bags function by expanding outward into the springs to stiffen them.

I also think the performance would be impacted due to how much taller the springs are with the lift kits - the air bags would expand to the correct width, but across a smaller portion of the springs compared to stock.

I am not clear on what amount of impact this would have on the overall function or if it would cause the bags to move around too much and possibly puncture, etc.

If I were going with the Airlift setup, I would probably use the Gladiator kit and maybe try to make a thicker spacer to take up a little bit more of the extra space to keep the bag from sliding around too much.

Not a professional on this (yet, lol), but from what I gather, it's more dependant on the bag filling the coil cavity and pressing outward on the spring rather than being long enough to push on the top and bottom of the spring perches...

Haha well you are def correct about how the bags work - I do think its possible though that the bags expanding against a smaller percentage of the taller springs might still impact how well they work.

If you're not trying to support a TON of weight and just need a little extra stiffness, it would probably work OK to use the stock Gladiator kit with the Mopar lift...my only real concern would be if the bags move around too much, if that would cause them to puncture more easily or something like that.

I would *prefer* another spacer be installed or a slightly longer air bag, but it levels my truck with 500lb in the bed and an RV with 750lb tongue weight with 35psi in the bags. I suppose if it levels the truck with the max axle weight rating, that's good enough for me?

I wonder how they aired up the lower bag when they stacked them, unless there's a way to get the air line in through the bottom... ?

All of this is why the Airlift situation is very unclear and I'm not sure that any of the choices are actually that great if you have a lift.

The Timber Grove option is the most promising by far, and the only company in this space I've seen yet that is interested in trying to actually design a product to work with lifted Jeeps rather than leave us to create a mutant setup with random parts that may or may not work as designed.

And will be easier to install. And will likely have better support. I’m looking forward to it.
