I also only changed Max load inflation and left the others at the defaults. The Min Load didn't do anything when i tried it.

I set mine at 30 psi and it will triggers the light if it gets below 25 psi.

I used the "Max Load Inflation" Front and Rear. Which settings are you changing?
OK, changed "Max Load Inflation" today, but I still show needing to be inflated despite my actual pressure exceeding the minimum set point? I also dropped the rears to 18 and back up to 21 just to see if raising to the threshold would help.

Max load inflation is the normal tire inflation rate.
The thing triggers when the tire inflation drops something like 20%

I set mine to 35 and now they have to drop to below 28 before it triggers the warning.
(I normally run my tires at 36 or so - but it won't take 36 in JSCAN)

Leave the minimum at 0 - don't mess with that one.
Only change the one setting - Max Load Inflation Pressure Front / Rear Tire

I have yet to try it with AlfaOBD - may try to play with those settings with AlfaOBD in a couple of days since it's been updated. I want to see if it covers 2022 models yet.

I left everything else that way it was this time , but lowered the Max setting to 20psi. You can see the icon and the rear tires are in red indication I have low tires.

Just putting this out there to help, not sure if this is the right place to post, but... I set my tire size to 2630mm with AlphaOBD, for Mickey Thompson 35x12.50r17 running at 30 psi. cold, and my speedometer is right on. Checked with 3 different radars.

I tried adjusting my pressure thresholds and tire size, on a 2022 JT Rubi. I'm using ECRI to bypass thresholds SGW module, and OBDlink MX+ for connections. I got an error message when attempting to connect to the BCM; however, after reading posts on here about this issue, I tapped continue. When I attempt to change pressure thresholds or tire size, I get an error. "Failed. Requested procedure is not supported by this module." Any suggestions?

Below is the message I received from AlfaOBD, if you get the error message in the picture I posted.

Hello,

The app can’t properly detect the body computer model, most probably because it is missing from the app database. Please record debug log of the connection to the BCM for me to detect the BCM model and to add it to the app database.

To record the debug lo9g, enable the “Debug data recording” option in the app settings and connect to the BCM. After the recording use the Tools screen to send the debug log to me.

Regards,

Alexey

I have a 2022 JT with GPEC5 ECU. I've only made changes in the BCM with AlfaOBD, though, no ECU changes. Halogen to LED lights, various places. AlfaOBD 2.3.2, OBDLink MX+.

I think it has been covered but I am not finding it now.
Which is the preferred method for downloading the AlfaOBD app?
Play store or Amz?
If I download the AlfaOBD app thru/from amazon (purchased of course), is the app able to update via google apps?

thanks

If you do Amazon, at least it was this way when I purchased back in 2020, you need to download the package file from the AlfaOBD site, install it and then get the key from them when you update.

Can't speak for the PlayStore (Google) method.

He's always responded quickly and it's never been a hassle - it might take a day or two but it's not been a problem for me.

In my experience, it won't update through the PlayStore if done via Amazon.

IMO, what I would do now if I was starting from scratch - is contact their support and ask directly. They've changed things over the last 2 or 3 years.

Maybe someone else has other experiences with it - like maybe someone here has gone the Google route. But went Amazon and thus it will not update automatically or via Google.

I've only had experience with the playstore... I have not had any issues there.

I don't think it can be any easier than playstore was. I had not used mine in years and wanted to update it. I looked it up on play store like it was my first time . it came up and it said I already have it installed and would I like to update it . I clicked yes and it was done and ready to go just as quick .
