Sorry, the quote didn’t fill in. That was in reference to bill61’s reference to the JK speakers.
I don’t understand.

@bill61 - I am still impressed by the JKU Alpine system. The only thing I have been disappointed with in the Gladiator is the Alpine system. I guess I’m being kinda first world problem there. But I hop back into my JKU and notice the difference.

i was wondering if you had looked at part numbers for the JK alpine system vs the JT to account for the differences you found in the two.

No, I never did. I kinda assumed that the dashes being so different that the speakers up top would not even be close. The soundbar might share speakers. Honestly Jeep changes so much so often it may have size commonality in the soundbar at best. Besides I am no audio expert and was hoping $100 to $150 in speakers would bring it alive.

Well, I guess it’s sounding good as my girlfriend commented on the sound of my stereo this weekend. She was very impressed. It does sound good at normal volume levels I have to admit. Sometimes you just want to crank it up though and that is a true test.

I went with Infinity Reference 307F 3.5” in the dash, Kicker RMS 46CSC354 3.5” in the soundbar, and Kicker KSC40 in the soundbar. I clipped the 4 tabs off the KSC40s and used the 3 tab adapter ring to mount them.
Be attentive to the placement of the stock foam padding for the speaker grill of the soundbar or you could get rattles at certain frequencies.
