I used my Frontrunner rack from my JKUI think you put lips on all 4 sides - cab end and sides go down and bolt direct to mounting locations so no brackets needed.

My kid's things have been taking over the garage. Taught my 6 year old how to use a miter saw. He cut 8 of the 21" pieces himself (well with me standing right next to him).
I found a piece of 1/4" osb behind a pegboard i tore out of my garage today. Decided to make a mockup of my shelf i'm going to have made out of 1/8" aluminum. Planning to have a 2-3" lip on the front and back to have more rigidity as well as limit stuff from falling over the edge.
Contacted ok4wd and they said they can get more of this bracket from Africa for $15 EACH....JESUS! I realize I could make something myself, but these are really nice and EXACTLY the right height and beefy. Look at the two brackets holding up my cabinet, its the same height as the 6 top brackets that hold the canopy on.
Do you think 2 on each side and 2 on the rear would be plenty for the 1/8" aluminum shelf?
The cap roof and the cab roof are even. The cab roof is not flat. I laid a straight edge on top of the two in on of these photos. As to width the cap is a bit narrower. Is it optical illusion or this topper is taller than the roof line and narrower than the actual width of your gladiator?
I never had a topper on my track before, but I always thought it supposed to be a continuation of the line of your roof and width of your track, is that not true?
It is narrower than the width of the cab? Slightly, but so is the box of the truck. Is it optical illusion or this topper is taller than the roof line and narrower than the actual width of your gladiator?

At least you got all the answers right! Why did I ask you a bunch of questions that I answered? I don't know.
the cab sticks out a bit. Kinda looks goofy compared to chevy, ford, gmc, toyota, but....jeep is a different look.Is it optical illusion or this topper is taller than the roof line and narrower than the actual width of your gladiator?

wow, you're full of all sorts of neat things. Not everyday you learn somebody works at a machine gun factory.....Where is the 50cal mount on top of the alu-cab?Since I happen to work at a machine gun factory it only seemed proper to mount up one of our weapons ammo can in the bed. It was a tight fit for the 40mm grenade can. Had to relieve some of the external ribbing on the can. This allowed a flat fit to the trail rail (two bolts) and clear the rail of the bedslide. What makes this install different than others is it doesn't just hang from the trail rail. There is a bottom support tied to the bedslide fixed frame. Two bolts go thru the can bottom into this upright. Makes a rock solid install that doesn't flex or rattle. Could be completely filled with tow chain and not stress the trail rail or make contact with the rear wheel tub.
The M2 is awesome but if I was to “borrow” something it would need to be one of the 3 barreled 50cal rotary chain guns. Now that sucker can lay down some hurt!wow, you're full of all sorts of neat things. Not everyday you learn somebody works at a machine gun factory.....Where is the 50cal mount on top of the alu-cab?

I also mounted an ammo can to my JT, but just a dinky small 50 cal box. Where can I get one of those Big Kahuna Kans?
Maybe Santa will give me one for Christmas? The M2 is awesome but if I was to “borrow” something it would need to be one of the 3 barreled 50cal rotary chain guns. Now that sucker can lay down some hurt!
