I read that this might happen with the AAL DRL, and it finally happened to me after a little over a year of ownership. I did the Tazer Mini LED reset to see if it was a software issue, but it looks like the LEDs themselves have failed. Unfortunately, I bought in February 2022, and installed about June 2022, so I’m definitely outside of the 1 year warranty otherwise I’d ask them to replace. With AAL’s website saying they are 15-20 weeks backordered, looks like I’ll be going with the Quakes that are in stock. Hopefully they last a bit longer. I also have the AAL inner fenders and think they are fine, so I’m disappointed that these failed on me.

Mine driver side was a couple months over the warranty period and they replaced for free so it's worth it to contact them. They also have a new lens coming out which is supposedly much better and parts are entirely made in the US. They have a video on their instagram talking about it. The new lens will work in the old bracket.

I didn’t think about that. I needed a replacement soon though, about to move cross-country and I’m not interested in every small town cop pulling me over for having a blinker. I ended up going with Metalcloak, since theres is cheaper than the AAL or quake, will ship in the next few days. and they will replace the lighting element individually. I can’t wait on 15-20 weeks for AAL.

Ya they had a 15 week backorder when I inquired about a replacement but it shipped out within a week. I think they keep some stock for warranty claims. Good luck with the new lights. ?

I've had great experiences with AAL.
It might be worth it to get the one side replaced regardless of wait time, just to have a working set.

I went with the tinted quakes for the same reason they were in stock for immediate shipment and didn't have some ridiculous shipping charges for them. My Quakes have been flawless for about 1.5 years now.

Same thing has happened to me. I’ve replaced them once already and won’t be getting another replacement now that the second pair is failing. Going to switch up my fenders entirely to not have the chop brackets

I had the original style and was out of warranty by a year and they sent me not one, but two (left and right) replacements and prioritized them. I had them in less than a week! Well worth contacting them in person as they are fantastic to deal with. I’m in Alberta, Canada too! ??

I have the same setup (must be a Mojave thing, b/c I see a bunch of us are on the same page!) - I got the fender liners with orange powder coated inserts, chopped the fenders, and installed a set of their DLR's. My Mojave was non-LED so I also ordered the jump harness to get to the right resistance and trick the computer into not thinking my turn signals were out. Within two months the harnesses started crapping out. I had to re-order 6, yes 6, sets of the non-LED harnesses, and 1 right side DLR because it's own wire harness literally fell apart - one of the wires just slid out of the housing. In the beginning they were nice, but then they stopped covering shipping, and finally said they wouldn't send me anymore and instead offered me a 15% off coupon for any future orders. No thanks. I gave up and got a Tazer Mini, and so far haven't had any issues. If they do stop working, I'll replace them with something else, for sure. I don't know when these new ones are coming out, they told me they were shifting to a new design/vendor almost a year ago. I'd still say contact them, but good luck!

I do have a Tazer Mini, and LED package from the factory. I didn’t order the bulb-out fix and have used the Tazer for that, so my issue is slightly different - the LEDs just straight broke and don’t light up.

But, it seems I have the same decreasing customer service that you’ve had. I’ve called AAL several times yesterday afternoon and several times this morning and only gotten their voicemail after about 5 minutes of holding. Extremely disappointed.

... yeah, this. Mine at least work for now, it was the jump harnesses that kept failing. Really, I wish you good luck. I will say (and someone else said it too), they must keep a bunch on hand for warranty replacements, because when I did have to re-order one side, it came pretty quick.

I went with the Quake's, but with their cube style lights. Love the look. Plus, if one ever goes out, I can replace it with a cheap cube from the jungle.

Metalcloak ended up pulling through, their half price light is shipping out today. There’s no fancy sequential turn strip, but the light looks perfectly serviceable and bright from customer installs I looked up on YouTube. And I do need it very soon.
