Are you guys flipping the rear view mirror?

If you had the factory Katzkin leather seats installed on a sport or sport s, would you still be sitting higher?Things that make a Gladiator comfortable for me at 6'4":
- Cloth seats not leather. From comparing multiple vehicles, the leather tends to sit about 1/2" higher at the lowest seat setting on both. When you are at the cusp of fitting/not fitting, that 1/2" can seem like a lot.
- No ACC box above mirror - I need all the windshield real estate since the bottom of mirror is line of sight level for me. And I'm a little claustrophobic so that box creeps me out. (Also have no desire for any of its functions.)
- The mirror flip... Well, I just came back from the dealer looking at the interior on a cloth-seat Rubicon and it looks like the mirror flip might be a little more involved. I flipped the mirror on a Sport S I rented while sitting at a stoplight with just a little encouragement. The Rubi looks like it will require a detach. Anyone flipped the Rubi mirror?
Hey, where'd you find the pic of @SleepyJeep ?6'6 220+, I fit fine.
This is the guy who is doing all of that complaining

No idea how the Katzkin thing even works. You tell us.If you had the factory Katzkin leather seats installed on a sport or sport s, would you still be sitting higher?
@Yellow1098 for us first timers, can you explain?Mines flipped on my sport s it definitely helped alittle
they just take off the old cloth and put the leather cover that's remade over the seat. Theres a few threads on here, I do notice hough that the seats in the JL and JT are incredibly stiff compared to the JKNo idea how the Katzkin thing even works. You tell us.
I forgot to mention the cloth as well. In my JLU Rubicon(now my wife's) with factory leather I found that my knees would occasionally hit the dash after a long day at work. I always contributed it to me slouching and sliding a bit forward in the leather. The sliding was the main reason I went cloth on the Gladiator.Things that make a Gladiator comfortable for me at 6'4":

This has to be a torso to leg proportional thing, I'm an inch taller than you and don't have this problem.Haha I mean I have gotten used to it but I'm 6'5 270 and I am alittle tight head room wise....I can't put my head on the head rest without hitting the speaker crossbar....the sight line is to high and have to duck to see traffic lights. It definitely needs to go lower for tall guys it is an issue .....
That's what everyone overlooks... MY brother is an inch taller than me, but sitting down I am 2 inches taller than him! This has to be a torso to leg proportional thing, I'm an inch taller than you and don't have this problem.
I do however wear a 38" inseam. How long is the inseam in your pants?
