My driver door hits the striker about 1/2-3/4 low and the door rattles when I hit bumps.. I think it happened when the body shop had it for corrosion but I really didn’t notice it too much until it was too late to take it back. How can I adjust the back side of the door up so it hits the striker correctly?

Don't you just loosen the bolts on the door, lift the door as much as you'd like, and tighten?

How late is too late? I would think the shop would let you come back and have it corrected.

Dunno, used to be ya did that but now dont know if this always applies. Because they are aluminum and very light as doors go.
Reason I say this is the pins have inserts . In the hinge . The pins wear down and door sag down. Renewing these pins should take care of the problem.

Why is it too late. If they messed up, they should fix it.

Is the door off, or is the striker off?
How does the door sit in the door opening?
Are the gaps even or does it drag on the sill?

You'll have to loosen the hinge bolts if it's the door itself.

The work was done over a year ago. I spend most of my time with the doors off so I really didn’t notice it until just recently. The door is off. When I close it the striker lifts the door up so that the gaps and lines all line up when it’s closed. There’s no adjustment in the striker

You should contact them. If they won't cover it because of time maybe they will give you a discount. If you have to adjust the hinge, most likely you will have to have that area repainted. I know on mine the doors are painted over, so if I were to loosen the bolts it would mess up the paint. And who knows what the paint will look like under the hinge.

Easy fix. I just loosened the hinge bolts, had the wife lift the edge of the door that aligns with the sticker properly and retighten. 10 minutes at most.

What about the paint on the bolts? Did you have to touch it up?

Frankly, you don't even need help. I've done far far heavier doors over the years and those often involved bolts you can't access once the door is closed.
Jeep doors are light. You can make plastic shims to go under the door to hold it even, perhaps even just a tiny bit high if needed, then tighten the bolts.

And yes, the striker IS adjustable if your door gap is even. Primary concern is even door gap, and the door not too close to any part of the opening. If that is ok, then adjust the striker.

Or get your torx bits out and adjust it like I've done on many dozens of vehicles
Make the door fit the opening perfectly, then align the striker to the door.

Don't use the tools that bend or force things - that's not a fix. Do not pry on or bend the striker - LOOSEN it and adjust correctly. It might take an hour, but you're Jeep will be better for it.
Painters tape, a good eye, and torx bits, make some plastic shims if needed.

Don't do it like I watched it being done at a Ford factory years ago - guy built like a linebacker carried a 2x4 and a bit rubber mallet and a bar. He checked doors, hoor and trunk lid and used one of those three things to align the fit. Seriously? Prying and bending things? Wow.
