I'm getting 18-19 mpg at 70
Thanks for the support. I appreciate you. Yeah. Definitely a lot bigger hills. Interestingly some of my best mileage was in and around Yellowstone- saw 19-20mpg going up and down. Worst was in flat Indiana , Illinois and Iowa - 12-14mpg on high ethanol content gas. That Yellowstone run is a little more hilly than south Louisiana!! I can deal with that!!I live in western Pa so highway driving is a lot of long gradual uphill grades. My wheel tire combo is decently heavy, 37” STT pros and black rhino Abrams so around 115# each. 80 on the highway is around 2300 rpm and gets me between 19-20 mpg. If there’s a decent headwind it drops to about 17. Around town is 12-14 depending on how I drive.
You should be 2,300-2,400 at 70 mph.Yes

Yeah, I'm on 37 inch BFG and at 70-72 I'm around 2,200-2,300 RPMs. To me I would not waste my time with 4.88's. I did 5.13's and in flat Houston I love the set up. I'm a rock crawler too and the set up it fine. I crawled with the stock 4.10's and now the 5.13's and I did fine with both. You should be 2,300-2,400 at 70 mph.
