SHHHHH!
I don’t want anyone else to get to my local HF store and buy every last one they have . HAHA!

In all seriousness yes I’ll be there first thing on the 19th as well and like you then I’ll have to get a bumper.

I was about to purchase a Badland Apex last year (regular price) but stopped short of clicking buy after I saw that it only comes with a 90 day warranty. A 2 year warranty is $180 which immediately makes the cheap good winch not so cheap. I ended up buying a Warn Evo 10S for about $600 after rebates from Northridge. Just checked and the Warns are not on sale but they do come on sale or have rebates. Just food for thought. But $340 dollars is a killer deal even if you add the warranty you end up paying less than regular price. So, I would say it is a buy, but at the sale price.

What’s work?
I am, my ZJ needs one so I have an excuse to order the winch deck I opted out on my MVF bumper.

There’s not a sale. It’s all a scam, not worth getting up that early. šŸ˜‚
I actually did catch it on sale for 100.00 off. And already had the winch bumper I like it alot

Amazon specials work for me, haven't bought a HF winch in years.

Since people figured out that China can make HF winches as easily as they can RC and Smittybilt, the prices have been so high it's not worth it.

The Xbull on my Gladiator came with rope and a flat shackle, for less than a steel cable Apex.

340 is a good price, but that's honestly just where it should have been all this time without Covid money flooding the system.

I bought one when it was on sale 2 weeks back. Also bought a stubby bumper during the BF sales & installed it today.

I haven't installed it yet, but will see if they would adjust the price, otherwise I'll buy it again, then return it on the other receipt.

I have 2 of the Apex 1200's with synthetic line. The one on my JK is now 3 years old, the one on the Gladiator is now about 18 months old. Both have been rock solid dependable.

I seriously thought about getting one for the trailer at that price but when I got to my HF, they only had one steel line one left and being still unemployed and really wanting the synthetic line one, I passed on it.

I have a small 3000 lb winch on the trailer already. With a snatch block I can pull my JK onto the trailer so a new winch is a want, not a need. I really like the line speed (28 ft/m) of the Apex winch and at $350 it was a great deal. The timing just isn't right at this time.
