Be interesting to see if they fit, they will help with inspections but doubt they will help much with keeping stuff off the side of the JT, that all comes from the bottom of the front tires, best protection is either a long front mud flap or running boards.

I think the rears will be 6 inches short at the back and the fronts like 2 inches short from photos. Ill be taking pictures when I get mine. I have the sport model so who knows how far off they will be.......

Pics would be much appreciated. Really interested to see if a set of fronts, could be used on the rear. Thanks for being a Guinea pig with these ?

Update! I got 1 in today, left rear. So, to my shock and dismay, it does not line up to the sport rear fender....... Neither holes or shape. Now throwing it up against the front the shape is closer. The garage is too dark for decent pictures so that will have to wait until Monday.

Bummer! Mine are still on back order lol. I’m fairly committed to getting these to work as I really like the factory + look.

edit: I wonder as you have sport fenders if the rubicon fenders will change much…

My plan is to get the Quadratec Baja HD fender flares when they come out for the Gladiators. I may chop them if the lights are available to fit [American Adventure labs or Quake] then adding these spats to quiet the state with quick release mud flaps. this is a lot of ifs lol

Me thinks this is the case the curve is not as tight which would account for the higher fender. I have been working in automotive forever.... Exact fit means it should be easy to make work on this vehicle. Universal fit means that with enough time money and work it can be made to fit your vehicle. drilling holes to make it fit or breaking out a heat gun to bend are options. For less than $20 list vs $250 for the Australian spats I can screw up a few times getting these to fit lol

Saw this at Costco tonight and honestly think the recon flares look decent. May have to try a set once they are available.

Did the fronts ever come in? Wondering if we can use front flares on the rear also..

My stock front wheels and tires fling a TON of stuff up on the side of the truck. Its a Mojave so the slightly greater (lesser?) offset may be part of the issue.

I'm hesitant to put flaps on. years ago I ripped a set off my Montero while backing off road. Plus these XR extensions are stupid cheap. So I'll try them first.

Most of it comes from the bottom of the front tires, side steps or long mud flaps will keep the sides cleaner.
