Anyone thought about removing the tailgate sport decal?

So I have the Sport S... I just think the Sport decal looks weak on the rear tailgate.

I wouldn’t mind removing it and adding some type or badge or something. I’d rather see Gladiator or something more serious or fierce looking.

Nothing against Sports I have one! :like:

Thoughts?

I did, a little bit of heat, lift up an end and pull it off. I used a small plastic scraper to help move it. A little bit of heat from a hair dryer helps as it softens the adhesive some. Once it is up I used wd40 on a rag after heating a little more to take off the remaining adhesive. No chance of damaging the paint with it. There are other ways but this is a really safe way. I took the Gladiator stickers off too.

I have a Sport S also, thinking of replacing it with a Granite Crystal Edition decal from Pixeldecals.com.

I plan to immediately remove any vinyl decal and only leave emblems mounted with holes underneath. I’ve always been from the school of thought that people in the know, know what it is and everybody else don’t know the difference anyway. I always debadge my cars.

And rubbing alcohol works much better than WD40

Also not wanting to badge it with something it’s not... just a play on gladiator emblem or the color.. etc.

I’d almost put the gladiator decal there and a trail rated badge or something

AGREE WITH ALL OF THE ABOVE! De-badged is the only way to go! Saw a guy in West Virginia with 4 Rubicon stickers on his hood. Clearly making up for lacking in other areas. You know what you have, why do you care what others think?

Somewhat funny: When I de-badged our Overland XK when we purchased it new (many moons ago!), I had a guy with a Sport Commander put all my badges on his vehicle....even the Hemi badge :CWL:!
