I'll never forget seeing this and wanting it so badly. Anybody wish they could have gotten this over their current gladiator?

Cool looking......yes

Will it fit a child seat or seat anyone else comfortably in the back......no
(yes I find the back comfortable)

Therefore, I'd 100 times prefer my current JT 👍🏻

When was the last time you saw a fleet gladiator? I’ve never seen one.
Exactly. When was the last time you saw a fleet/local business 4-door midsize in general? The extended cab 6' box makes sense for light commercial with a 1-2 man crew where the 4 door is just added expense and wasted space.

I'd trade a little shorter cab for a little more bed and the better proportions that come with.

Make it equivalent to a 90s extended cab full size back seat

Nah, I much prefer the 4-door over that shorty xtracab.

Yeah, I still like the extended cab configuation with the spare mounted on the side.

LOL no.

I would, however, pay anything to get the better, only concept that matters...

I love that look, but damn, I'd be super happy if I could just get those tires in a 35-37 on a 17" rim.

I kinda wish they offered the JT in an extended cab, although I wouldn’t have bought one and the majority of Americans wouldn’t.

If you’ve read much about the engineering behind the JT design, you’d realize that it wouldn’t have the same amazing weight distribution. That extra space behind the rear doors that make the proportions look off is why the JTs have such amazing weight distribution for a truck. There wouldn’t be a way to do that with an extended cab without altering the wheelbase and that just wouldn’t really work either.
In your opinion.

In mine, I would have been interested in an “Club cab” 2 door with a longer box.

No. It looks nifty, but I prefer 4 doors and 2 rows of seats.

I kinda wish it looked more like the old Gladiator/Comanche.

I inherited Dad's F150 club cab with the 1/2 size rear doors. Very comfortable in the back where a mid size truck is cramped. Remember those sidewise jump seats from decades ago? I think the same in the JT would become the catch all bin, usefull for long guns, axes and fishing rods as long as it had rear half doors. Otherwise, it is a 4 wheeled motorcycle-room for two.

I had a Ford ranger that was an extended cab with two full size doors with two partial clamshell rear opening doors.
If the proportions and the power plant were right...I'd go for the concept vehicle, even with a shorter bed and less overhang on the rear.
