Armorlite regrets?

Anyone have any regrets after going with the Armorlite carpet replacement?

It looks fantastic to me, if a little pricey, but I’d like to know how it holds up and if there are any downsides.

None at all. I've had it in for a few months now, and sand from the beach, fine red clay dust, mud, you name it, it all cleans out very quickly and easily. It's definitely something I would purchase again, and would recommend to others.

Are you seeing any wear/compression in the foot pedal area? This is my only concern before upgrading.

Zero regrets for me, just open the drains and hose it out then wipe it up with a microfiber towel and it's brand new no matter how messy it was. Wouldn't be surprised if Jeep partners with armorlite to make it an oem factory option at some point especially since the Bronco has a similar oem flooring option.

None at all for me, but I'm only at 14k miles with it in. It's really heavy duty stuff, I doubt you will have any wear even into the far future with it

so goarmorlite sent me a sample (about 3x5 inches, probably from their scrap pile) because I wanted to see the desert khaki in person. Well, i also wanted to test its strength.

I took a regular knife and a hookbill knife to it. Sharpened them both first. The regular knife wasn't doing any visible damage while slashing. The hookbill knife was leaving damage that could be difficult to see depending on the lighting. I wasn't doing full strength passes, just a reasonable strength dig like I was trying to score or cut. It held up surprisingly well to that kind of abuse.

I was supposed to take the money from my sold takeoff tires and turn it into armorlite, but the sunrider sale claimed those funds. Now my armorlite purchase will have to wait until my june bonus, but I'm definitely doing it.

How thick is the footwell area? It's clearly designed to be used without mats but is it similar to husky or weathertech? I'm really debating hard about doing this soon and just doing all my electrical, audio, coms, and flooring at the same time to make things clean and easy.... just have the same worries as @bemarsh with the whole compression/wear thing.

None, needs to be factory option... which I believe it or something like it may now be.

I had this flooring for over a year and with dogs its amazing. Hair just vaccums or wipes right up.

That said I traded mine in with this installed and didnt have time to remove it = sad panda.

It was a bitch to install i had to pull both seats out and the side pillars.

The insulation is thicker than OEM carpet, but overall it has the same feel in the footwell area. Not bulky at all. 1000% improvement, not to mention the benefits of additional floor insulation.

Install does look a little time consuming, but hopefully that means it’ll appear more OEM and be less likely to pull out.

I wrote a smallish review here. It is slightly thicker than the carpet, but doesn't really affect the paneling much - in that they don't bulge out in any discernible fashion. It does make some of the paneling a little harder to snap back into place, specifically the rear door sills, but it's doable with patience. As I said in the other thread, I'd give it a 98% fitment rating: you'll have to finagle it a little for everything to get seated properly.

Agreed that it's a bit of a pain, but taking the time to remove all the front seat bolts and all the applicable trim pieces makes it quite easy to install. Trying to shortcut just makes the job more frustrating, so save yourself the headache and actually prep fully and it will basically slide right in.

I've only had mine a week/500 miles, and it's great so far. It's a little squeaky/slippery when first installed, but it breaks in pretty quickly, along with the initial smell subsiding.
