The inserts look good. How bad was it to get them out. I thought about doing that on mine but haven't even looked at how they remove.
If I remember correctly it’s one bolt from backside and then you can use a screwdriver to pull them out from front they are clipped in

I have a Mojave, which didn't have a max tow option but it does have the tow package and 7500lb towing capacity. I think the springs may be stronger than stock sport etc. but with me adding around 500 lbs constant weight I expect it to impact the suspension.
[/QUOTE
the max tow option has the strongest springs not the longest travel but a progressive spring rate the GVWR is 6250
For a max tow
Mohave is designed for compression
length for jumping not for cargo weight
I have almost 500lbs . Of added weight
But with air bags still have 2” of spring travel left and with progressive spring rate I probably have another 300-400 lbs capacity

Mojave tow capacity is 6,000 lbs

You’ll love the Sheridan. My bumper thanks me often now. I don’t hit bedside skids almost ever now anymore.

Backside of each corner has a plastic cover that is held in with some push pins. Once you pop them out (at least a few towards the outside corner) bend back the cover and you will see 1 small bolt you will need to remove (it screws into the back of the insert) Once that is out, you can use a plastic trim tool to pry out the insert, which at that point is just held in with some pressure clips around the outside edges.

Finished installing the rear half of my AEV 2" Spacer kit.

I was running a 3/4" Daystar spacer in the rear for a bit -to have it a bit more leveled, but it now has the full 2" front and rear.

Also plasti-dipped the stupid silver front bumper inserts. Much better now.

Just a spacer for that bearing? Nice idea. Similar to a transfer case lowering on an old CJ. This is way easier. Who makes it? How high is your lift? Mine is 3-3.5”, ish. Had you noticed a vibration?
Rockjock. I did one with my 2” spacers as they come in the AEV kit and figured $45 was cheap insurance.

Replaced my cargo box with a new flatter, but more extensible model from Rival4x4. This one is ridiculously more stable and sturdy. Also features standard T-channel slotted rails for adding basically whatever I want. Now I’m going to run 4 amber lights forward and 4 rear/chase (as seen).

As a result, also swapped out the bed cover 60” HD cross bars with 68” HD bars, because I will now mount a (new) awning and shower stall on the top cargo box, and instead of having the awning on the bed rails, I’ll mount a Waterport Weekender - which requires a bit more width.

All of this stemming from lessons learned from my Death Valley trip :)

Well glad I swapped my wheels/tires on my truck for the season last week. Today my wife pulled up with air hissing out of her tire.

Skipped the donut spare and plug and put the winter stockers back to work. Gotta love having Jeeps - the adult version of the LEGO and sharing parts ?

Put my wheels and tires on thanks to our site sponsor, Discount Tire. Combined with the military discount, I saved almost $1000. Nitto Ridge Grappler 37x12.5x17 and Method Race Wheels 703 in bronze.

Did you put a full size spare with the same rim underneath?
