Re torquing the control arms while on the ground is def the worst and most time consuming part of the job.

Its the worst!! lol. I loosened the back and torqued them back down. Then I asked myself why I loosened them at all after doing 3 on the front… I left the driver side tight and just removed the shocks and links. Threw a stand under one side and lowered my jack and let the axle do it’s thing. Saved me a lot of work

What started as taking the dash and misc. trim apart to get rid of some bad rattling ended up with installing the 115V switch/bed outlet and taking the media port cover off. Still have to find some time to install the aux switches.

How did you get the media port cover off? That thing irritates the crap out of me.

I have a bunch of pelican cases sitting around from my previous life so I mounted a couple of them on my bed racks.

I plan on keeping them empty and unlocked on the regular (hence the sticker) in a hopeful attempt that any would-be thieves will open then to see they’re empty before trying to rip them off.

I mounted them with a couple of Rotopax mounting plates I wasn’t using and a ton of silicone to keep the water out.

I have custom cut foam inserts that are gun specific I can throw in if I want to transport anything like that but also figure I can throw other stuff in if I want too (sleeping pads, tow straps, Cheetos Puffs, etc.)

It’s ok. I ordered the day I bought my truck from the dealership. Like I’ve read in 1,000,000 posts, I should have driven around a bit first to decide what I wanted.

At least it was cheaper than most and probably sufficient for me. I tend to over buy so I would have spent a lot more I’m sure.
