Moab is only a few hours away from you…
Considering I’ve driven to Houston and back, 8 hours isn’t too terribly bad. I just haven’t been able to get away from work quite yet. Hopefully within the next year I’ll be out a whole lot more!

I've driven a lot since I pulled the trigger on mine but only one real trail. :(
Like the OP said you should get out on the trail. Lots of trails in your area too. A little hot right now. I want to get out to Lake Mead. Can't believe how low it is.

I’m not in a rush, and keeping my only debts as the vehicle financing, and mortgage, so taking time on the build. All I’ve done thus far is:
1. Added Overland decals to hood.
2. Added hood lights
3. Installed above door handles
4. Swapped running boards for Rubicon sliders

more to come...

Did you install hood lights? If so, was it hard?
No hood lights, but I do have cowl lights… way easier than the rock lights.

The hardest part was running the wiring, while laying on the driveway. I used an Aux switch, and put the light controller behind the Bluetooth speaker dock. I know not the best, but I ran the pod light wires through the cab vent, which is right behind the speaker.

Do the lights come with instructions or installations or jeep?

Yes, they are the rugged ridge light kit that came with the cowl mounts and lights. They come with instructions on installing with the included switch/harness, I only used the part of the harness with the connectors for the lights, as I was using the AUX switches for operation.

Last weekend picked up a Rugged Ridge Voyager soft top for $500 at PCB Jeep Jam. Installed this weekend…

How do you like it? How loud is it? Rain proof?

It stays dry inside, but is loud… that said: the hardtop will be coming off again for the warmer weather, and this will be back on. I really like how it all functions. The biggest improvements I can see for the top, is adjustable brackets to prevent the issue I had with fit, and straps to hold the rear window rolled up (like older Jeeps)
