This is more of a curiosity thing. My truck has auto down windows for the front 2 and its marked on the switch. Many trucks don't have auto written on the switches, I even found my prespec'd trucks twin and it did not have auto on the switches. I can't find anything about it being an option or part of a package. Sorry if there is info on this, but I couldn't find it. I also realize this one of the last things people care about.

Interesting. I have the same auto switches but the front and rears are identical. No markings on the front. Boy how I wish they were auto-up too, and for that matter all auto-up/down.

I thought almost all cars had auto up/down on a double tap no? I obviously can't verify it for you guys cuz I still don't have my LE :P

It's not even a double tap. In the fronts there is a detent, so once you press passed the detent it goes to auto down, but not up. I've gotten the hang of contorting my four fingers to raise all windows at once, but it's not pretty!

I want wind winds damnit!

As for auto down, Jeep what’s the deal? Is auto down on all four that much of a problem? I understand that the auto up without a feedback sensor to detect the kids or dogs etc but why can’t I have all 4 auto down?

Rumor has it you can take a switch module and replace your rear switches with fronts but I’ve never had the desire to buy two for a test.

My JLU had "AUTO" labeled on the switches (Sport S) but my JT does not (Sport S). Must be using multiple suppliers for the switches.

They lack the feedback mechanism with its cost, weight and complexity. When it detects anything more than normal effort to raise window it reverses and lowers. No kit = no auto up.

As for no auto down in the rear, that’s just a cruel joke.

I think either. With dogs and children and seniors, chance for accidents is too great
my FCA Pacifica has auto up/down in the front, not rear.
