When i used to work Downtown, before the swipe card, we had a garage door opener for the outer door for the secure underground parking. The remote would open my neighbours Garage door. I told him about it, if they ever got locked out... Funny thing is we played a joke or two. Fast forward to today...I have heard of theives obtaining keys and driving through neighbourhoods seeing which vehicle(s) would be super easy to jack. I'd keep an eye open.

Adding to this, Dodge had some big issues with this with the challengers, other manufacturers too. People have devices that scan the codes from your remote if they’re within proximity of the fob. If they’re near a front door, thieves can scan them and unlock your car and just drive away. Not saying that’s what is happening here but yeah I’d be careful. Get a faraday bag, they block anything in and out.

I have a feeling its the Tazer mini acting up. Does using a Tazer disable the security gateway?

I still have my old 4xe setup on my Uconnect app, and believe it or not, it allows me to still control all the features. Did you buy it used by chance? I dont even know how to go about removing the old 4xe from my app.

Bought it new. Dealer was using it as a demo before I got it. You just made me very curious how to terminate access.
I assumed it was a Tazer acting up.

I called Jeep Wave and they said there is only one log in credential for each VIN.

I assume you rolled your pw and the pin for uconnect just in case ?

Is it potentially related to ambient temp?

Coming from a cold climate I know many remote starters are able to be set to start if temps drop to (your) preset temp.

My ‘21 key fob doesn’t seem to have that ability on my eco diesel…but if it did I’d sure use it as local temps are below zero for the highs?.

The factory remote start responds to the double press of the FOB, or the signal sent using the app or website. There are no provisions for time or temperature related remote starts.
