If power and ground is good to the head unit, it should come up in at least a default state before a second cold reboot reconfigures. If none of that is happening , then yeah I would make the call of replacing the head unit.

I would give United Radio a lookup. They can usually fix most radios for a flat fee like around $200 or so and usually have a week turn around. Picking up a used one and you are going to need security unlock codes and that is a different issue to deal with.

Yes have done both of those things multiple times now. I have unplugged all power to the system and left over night. I have left system on charger over night. I have given it multiple drive cycles and tried manually soft booting the head unit via pressing and holding both dials for about a minute. The only progress I have made is by unplugging all my battery connections and z fuse array and cleaning, following with unmarrying my taser mini. My remote start now works but I'm still at a loss for the head unit and dash. Going to order new head unit and if it works great but if it doesn't I'll just return the head unit. Hate just swapping parts but I'm unsure as what else to check.
A minute is too long the correct is 15-20 seconds.
The head unit will likely come back after the mother ship talks to it.

So life has been a bit hectic recently lol. But it was indeed the head unit the entire time. Replaced with a stinger heigh10+ and now it's all sunshine and rainbows. If the oem head units were more affordable definitely wouldve just stuck with oem. It's a bit of nightmare with all the wiring. I like everything to be clean but the cable management is just impossible with stinger. I do like the look and function of my new head unit though.

Did you look into getting it repaired or were already leaning forward on getting the Stinger?

Already leaning into getting one. But now debating on getting my old one repaired and this sent back. I have starlink on my jeep and the stinger uses its own wifi connection to wirelessly connect to your phone. So the benefit of being wireless is a mute point now lol
