No intention of deleting it.
I've seen one relocation kit online, costs ~$400, and you end up with the aux. battery on top of the fuse box. Easier to access, sure, but far from ideal. (and also, frankly, way too expensive for what it is)
Has anyone modified the main battery tray to fit the aux next to it? The compass, for all it's faults, actually houses both batteries together.
I replaced both mine yesterday (factory units, 23k miles, 3.5 years old) and it seems like there is plenty of wire on the aux. pigtail to shift it up and out of the hole it sits in.
