My original battery approaching 5yrs and still good. It's charging at 14v last 8 months.
Originals here too! Still working fine. ESS is ready right after warm-up. I have not looked at my voltage with the engine running in a while. I plug it in every couple of weeks, so that helps.

Voltage check is 12 -11.7 while not running. I took it to the dealership while under warranty and waiting for their answer.

Wow, that is LOW
But if you used the cluster display in run position, that's batteries under load and not really battery voltage. Use a meter, not the jeep

Yep. Too low. Replace both of them.

Took JT to the dealership and after waiting 5 hours they said batteries were good and just needed a charge. My voltage gauge showed 12.2 stationary in on position and fluctuated between 13-14 on the 20 miles back home. They said they couldn't replace batteries under warranty since passing test. Pain in the butt. I get it but just don't want to be stranded, especially with hunting season and colder temps on the way.

Frankly, it's very possible they were simply low.
You have not said how often you drive it or how far you drive it when you do drive it.

The dealership may be factually correct.
Plus it's NOT THE DEALERSHIP, stop blaming them
I could show you 3 pages the dealer must go through when testing a battery for warranty - they have to scan the bar code, if the voltage is below 12.4 they must charge the batteries, then they have to use a special device to test them that is connected to the internet and the info sent directly to FCA.
In other words, FCA knows they passed the test already, so they can't replace the batteries.

Not a dealer problem.

Dealers suck.
And what if the dealer is correct because he simply doesn't drive it enough?
Please see my other post on this - it's not the dealer's call on batteries! They have no choice if they wish to get reimbursed.

If he doesn't drive it enough, the fix is -
Separate the batteries, charge each battery correctly with a good 10 amp or more AGM charger.
Leave the IBS disconnected from the LIN connector to reset it.
Put everything back together - and if he doesn't drive it enough, he needs to put a charger on it now and then.

We're blaming a dealer who may be 100% correct, could be someone else causing low voltage.

I’m not blaming them. But I still say dealers suck. The system sucks. So much energy is out into not fixing things, that things get missed or ignored. If this is that, this time, that’s great. But it is so often.

Today I started my diesel gladiator with tow package and I got a auxiliary switch disconnect message. I checked my voltage gauge and it was at 13.8. it remained at such for a mile driving while pulling a trailer loaded with my ATV up grade . Going down grade it went to 14.0 and remained until I arrived home approximately 20 miles away. Temps have been 35-60 degrees. Is it time for a battery replacement?
I know I'm late to the party, been out of town, but mine did this and the aux battery was bad. Got it replace under warranty by the dealer.
