Backup Camera Not Turning On

Exact thing happened to me today, hopefully it comes back soon. Bumping for visibility, hopefully Jeep sees it’s a problem for multiple people, so they need to look into the issue.

so our IT folks have a solution to that, wait for it..........have you tried to unplug and plug back in, or turn off and back on, lol.....jk, .........I haven't had the issue but can see how it would be an issue.

Just dealt with this same issue last week. Pulled the fused and reset UConnect. Problem solved for now

Same issue on my 2021 Jt

Happened twice to me with my 8.4" screen. Usually resolves after the CANBUS powers down.

Curious if it may be linked to the Turn Cam feature on the Tazer Mini JL

I have the same problem this afternoon. Hoping it will work again by itself as some have suggested it has for them.

I had the issue about a month ago. Took it to the dealer. The mechanic said that the camera had become disconnected. Under warranty, free loaner and no charge. And I do not know where the harness connects.

Had this problem today with my reverse camera. Screen is black and white writing saying check all surroundings.
Tried it 4 times in a hour did same thing.

I had that a few times when I quickly went into reverse before it was booted up and another when the screen was off and turned the jeep off. It took a day or so to start working again.

Add me to the list. This just happened to me Sunday and was magically fixed Monday morning. Sure seems like a software bug doesn’t it.

Had this happen to me as well. My backup cam was not working. My key faub also did not work to open the doors and when I went to start it gave message no key faub! A few min later it did start though but the camera didn't work. Got home and camera still not working. However next day everything seemed fine again. I need to go look now into resetting uconnect. I only have 3300 miles and 3 months old.
